The roughing mill is a long-lasting piece of equipment. We ran it at 700 RPMs for about 15 coupons out of 6" schedule 80 pipe, and it's still razor sharp. It had flood coolant running through it.
Preparing steel tubes for welding with this end mill. It's holding up well despite the lack of coolant. Not as tough as an industrial environment, but as tough as a hobby shop!.
Even when making deep cuts in a less-than-ideal situation, the tool performed admirably and did not chip. than- Fixture that is rigid. They've got a good reputation. When compared to their hobby-related counterparts, they have a higher-quality appearance and feel. a good price.
Aluminum, steel, and stainless steel all benefit from this rougher.
In the same way that the others accuse the end-user, This one appears to be quite nice, but my milling machine was broken by the movers, so I'll have to fix that before I can try it out.
Although it did not last as long as other brands, it was less expensive. When one rougher usually does the job, I had to go out and buy another to finish the job.
It's still working perfectly.
