I'm sorry, but I'm not sure, but you can contact the manufacturer! I do know that if you order a custom size, they should arrive within two weeks. 3 weeks. That could be 6-figures if it came from China. 8 weeks! The product performs admirably and is quite substantial. duty! I'd make another purchase.
It certainly ought to. Hopefully, unlike mine, the four corner holes are tapped out properly. Lowe's and Home Depot carry the smaller sizes, but not the larger ones, which I had to order from Amazon.
Yes, I installed one on my flu, and the tightening screws are at least 2 inches long, so I'm confident it'll work.

I've discovered that growing older is very expensive; for example, I'm no longer allowed to climb ladders and lack the necessary balance to venture up to the roof to clean the chimney from our wood stove as I have done for decades, so we had to hire a service to do what we knew was an inadequate job of pretending to do it from the bottom up until I forced them to do it right. When we asked for a price on a replacement cap for the one that blew off, they pulled one out that looked exactly like this one and quoted us $150. 00 for the time it took to put it on while they were there. For $100. 00 less this one fits perfectly and almost didn't require the screws to keep it firmly in place, according to my son who installed it for free.
This product exceeded my expectations and was delivered on time. It's well-made and will most likely last a lifetime. I purchased the black 9 x 18 (as seen in the photos). The package was well-protected against damage and arrived in perfect working order, complete with screws. The set up- There is an inside border of mesh that can rest on the top surface of the flue, but I felt that it didn't provide enough material for the screws to grab without potentially causing the flue casting to crack or break, let alone issues with wind causing it to work loose over time. I decided that I'd rather have it seat all the way down the extended part of the flue so that I could use the friction created by bending back the mesh, and then anchoring sec. It finally sat nicely after a few attempts at bending the internal mesh and gently tapping the cover into place until it bottomed out on the outer part of the chimney. This resulted in a very tight fit, which was exactly what I wanted. After that, I secured the screws all around, and while on the roof, I took a look around. I'm the only person in the neighborhood who has a chimney cap.
It arrived the next day after I placed my order! br>br>Seems to be well-made enough to do the job, and there are no galvanized caps to worry about rusting. My issue is with the method of fastening. At each of the four corners, plain screws are used. Of course, they rode off the corners of the clay chimney liner when tightening. The cap on the chimney began to rotate as a result of this. It appears odd, but I doubt anyone will notice unless I call attention to it. If I had to buy it again, I would go with something different.
The product appears to be of high quality, and installation was simple. It took longer to get the ladder out and up than it did to put the Chimney Cap in place. For months, I've been battling a small water leak in my attic near my chimney. I tried several options, including applying a silicone coating to all areas around the chimney, but small drops of water continued to leak in. I'm happy to report that my water problem has been resolved after installing this cap and dealing with three days of rain.
It's solid and well-made. I painted mine black (they have black powder coated models, but I wanted stainless so it wouldn't rust) and it went together easily. If your chimney outlet is 13x13" like this one, keep in mind that you'll have to bend the screen fingers almost flat before installing it. Save yourself the trouble and do it now, while you're still on the ground, rather than later when you're up. Then all you have to do is tighten the found screws, and you're done.
It fit perfectly and was simple to set up. It should drop more than 3/4" in the flue, in my opinion. It appears that I am barely grasping the flue's edge with it. A little more depth would be nice. My paint was also chipped, but not to the point where I wanted to return it. I was just in a box that rattled its way into Wisconsin with no paper padding.
I looked everywhere for a squirrel guard for my chimney as well as a rain and snow guard. This is a rust-resistant stainless steel protector. Rather than anchoring on the outside of the large chimney fleu, the protector anchors inside my chimney. It keeps squirrels out of the chimney and works well in high winds, heavy rain, and winter snow storms. This is a fantastic purchase! Barney.
Two SST chimney caps were purchased. They appear to be very sturdy, and installation went without a hitch. The screws were SST, with deep threads that could withstand the screw torque. I thought the hood thickness was adequate (not overly sturdy, but not flimsy). The welds were of good quality, and the mesh provided stability to the hood. br>br>I would place another order.
