It can, but it's not designed for it, and it could be dangerous on the "coming out" side. Given your limited explanation, I believe you'd be better off calling a professional like NorthlineExpress before you burn everything down.
Our stainless steel version, 6DP24SS, is available.
Yes. They join together in the same way that the 36" does. I did something similar a few weeks ago.
The cap is available for purchase on Amazon. The chimney base installation kit includes one. You should be able to find what you need by searching for 'duravent 6dp.'

I only used two of these for the outdoor parts, attaching the bottom one with deck screws to a wood box built into the ceiling joists. Two supports were created by cutting a matching hole in the roof and steel roofing, which were then caulked with silicone (top and bottom). The dual wall (I count the inner two as one) keeps the outdoor area cool and prevents my ceiling from overheating - In my setup, the lower one serves as a "thimble. " They do allow room air to escape through the gaps between the walls, so I "tuned" the system by adding some loose fiberglass to "plug" the inner to outer gap somewhat - while still allowing a "small" amount of cooling air to escape These have now been tested with very hot fires and have proven to be very effective. Yes, the twist lock is a very nice feature to have in this, and I may not even use screws to hold the two pieces together outside; stainless steel would be preferable. However, the cost of doing so is exorbitant. I'm thinking I'll just paint the outside. There hasn't been a high-quality version of these for quite some time. I haven't put them through a wind test yet, but they appear to be quite sturdy, so I'm not concerned until I have reason to be. It's great that I can run some serious deck screws through the outer portion to hold the bottom in place without worrying about penetrating the inner part with the smoke in it, resulting in a truly solid mounting for my needs.
This was a repair part for a pipe section that had been damaged. Despite the fact that I requested stainless steel to match the other sections, I received galvanized steel instead. They also delivered it to the incorrect address, indicating that the order as a whole was poorly executed. Wood stove chimney is up and running again, thanks to a part that fit perfectly and was easy to install.
Smoke rose up the chimney, which became warm but was still able to pass through the combustible wall (an insulated thimble was required).
For comfort and safety, it's been built to last.
Quality that is long lasting.
