Is this stainless steel, grade 18/8?

That is something I am not sure about. It is, however, substantial and of high quality. I put them in the dishwasher on a regular basis, and they still look like the day I bought them a year ago.

Is this a teaspoon, or something else entirely?

Yes. 2 teaspoons are included in this set. Two teaspoons per person.

These are what I use to store my creatine and other supplements. I don't have to dig through supplement powders looking for it because of the long handle.

as if it were a smidgeon of coconut oil when pouring oil into shakes as a haphazard measuring spoon It's really nice to have such a long stem.

Tea spoon in the literal sense

So, after overpaying for an official tea spoon, I noticed the name of the company on these baking utensils. They were the same unit of measure, but they weren't sold specifically for a leafy beverage, so they were less expensive. So I grabbed a set to avoid a One Spoon To Rule Them All situation where the cat knocked it under the sofa. Let me tell you something. It's the same thing they do.

You can always add another teaspoon if necessary - spoon for measuring! Excellent product! The teaspoon measure appears to be the most common in your measuring spoon/cup drawer

This takes care of the issue. I bought two of them. Because of the longer handle, they are easy to locate in the aforementioned drawer.

I have two of each in my utensil drawer: a 1 teaspoon (2) and a 1 tablespoon (2). I have a nice set that I use, but these are a quick grab measuring spoon. (To be honest, it's better than my entire SS set from another brand).

Measuring spoons that I really like

However, my original set is made of 18/10 stainless steel, while these are made of 18/8. However, I'm not sure if this has any implications for functionality. These are very accurate and well-made, and I would strongly recommend them.

Use these in loose tea jars. great. br>Cut the handle to just below the hole, smoothed the edges with a fine metal file, and it came out looking great. br>I already have six of these and need more for a few more loose tea flavors. size is ideal.
