This coffee scoop was made in China after being designed in the United States.
I went out and bought some. Quality is something I really appreciate. I'm not sure who made it.
A slightly rounded scoop of ground coffee equals two cups or one strong cup for me.

My cat is quite large. I used to feed him only 1/4 cup of food per meal, but he just kept getting fatter. So I had to cut it in half, as advised by my veterinarian. I couldn't trust myself to fill the 1/4c scoop halfway, so I had to look for an 1/8c scoop. This is a fantastic scoop! It fits in the container, is very sturdy, and has a nice weight. I also believe the figures are accurate. Mike has been losing weight, so this is a plus.
Wow! These aren't your typical flimsy, light-weight measuring spoons. I purchased a two-teaspoon set that weighs two pounds. 0 ounces per person! I double-checked the measurements with my digital scale, and they're spot on. They're a good size, won't get lost, and will be easy to hold in my husband's large hands. One can be found in the coffee canister, while the other is in the flour. I may need to purchase a second set, one for cornstarch and the other for whatever else. They've met my expectations.
These scoops will look great in my laundry room! In contrast to plastic and acrylic, I wanted something wooden or metal that could withstand any odor or chemical transfer from the fragrance beads or powdered bleach alternatives. The wooden scoops either lacked the right design aesthetic, had an excessively long handle, or had a shallow bowl. These are extremely durable, have a lovely finish, and the 2 tbsp/30 ml measurement is perfect for my typical laundry load. It fits perfectly inside the canisters (which can be found here as well).
I buy organic raisins that must be kept in the refrigerator to prevent them from sticking together. It's difficult to use a plastic scoop, and most metal spoons have a handle that's too long for my container. I've been looking for a short handle like this one for a very long time. It performs admirably, is durable, and does not appear to rust.
There are no seams or welds to separate the pieces. It's all made out of the same material. It's the perfect size for my coffee canister. I had a much longer scoop that would not fit. The fact that it was so heavy surprised me. You won't be disappointed, I promise!.
I got this as a whey protein scoop, and I'm thinking about getting another. I measured two tablespoons into it with a tablespoon, and it's exactly the right size. It has a more refined and pleasant feel to it, and it looks far nicer than a plastic scoop.
I really wanted to like these, but they're a little too heavy-handed for me. I liked the longer handle and the design, but after a few weeks of digging through the coffee to find it, I gave up. It's big and heavy, and it sinks right into the coffee grounds. Along with my measuring spoons, I tossed it into the drawer. If I make a recipe that calls for two tablespoons, it might come in handy. I wish BALCI would make a 3 tablespoon stainless steel version that is lighter weight and has a slightly longer handle to make it easier to remove from the coffee canister.
I bought this 2 tablespoon measuring spoon to help me measure the food I'd be eating after a gastric sleeve (bypass) surgery because I could only eat 2 tablespoons for the first month. Per meal, 4 tblsp pureed food It made my life so much easier to have this on hand during my recovery; it's sturdy, cleans up easily, and measures accurately. It ought to be indestructible.
