They are, and I adore them for it.
I am not sure, but they appear to be of excellent quality. According to customs law, any product not made in the United States must have a country of origin label, and since OXO does not have one on this set (or the matching measuring cups set), I'm guessing they're made in the United States, or at least mostly made in the United States. OXO can bring in a mostly formed metal measuring spoon for example but then put more than 50% labor into it by finishing it (smoothing, grinding, etc.) and making the% If you prefer to buy only American products or refuse to buy from China, you are most likely purchasing something that is primarily manufactured in the United States.
Yes.
Like everything else, it's probably China, but I'm afraid I don't know.

It was exactly what I was looking for. I keep my knives on a magnetic strip, and this small set of spoons fits perfectly on it. There's no need to look for spoons; they're right in front of me, along with my knives. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: I've only had these for a year and the magnets are falling off, rendering them useless to me. Because they lasted less than a year and I had to buy a new set of measuring spoons, I reduced my rating from 5 to 2.
The spoons are a great way to save space while also keeping drawers looking tidy. The two sides fit perfectly into spice jars on both sides. The magnet is powerful enough. br>The biggest flaw I found was that the labels on all of the spoons were peeling off even before they were used, as you can see in the photos. I expect the lettering to deteriorate significantly after a few uses and cleans.
If the metal was stainless steel at all, it wasn't of high quality. Parts that were magnetic didn't work very well. Sender's message has been returned to him. It's not worth it to go out of your way to get them.
I've always been annoyed by a set of spoons that are held together by a ring but scatter in the drawer when the ring is removed. The magnetic hold is an excellent choice - The set remains intact in the drawer, but the spoons can be easily separated and used separately. I purchased a number of sets to give to my sisters and sisters-in-law. They are well-liked by the law enforcement community. Now I'm purchasing sets for the next generation of cooks. Each spoon has a round well on one end for liquids and an oval well on the other end that fits easily into a spice jar, in addition to the wonderful magnets. Also, the bottom of both ends of the well has a small flat area, allowing even a full spoon to be placed on a counter without spilling _ genius!.
These are fantastic, and the magnetic feature is particularly appealing to me. The spoons have two sides - one is for eating and the other is for serving. I assumed this meant one side for metric measurements and the other for US (teaspoon) measurements, etc. , which I thought was a nice feature for different recipes; however, when I received them, the only problem I noticed was that the spoons were not labeled! So, for instance, I was perplexed as to which is the teaspoon and which is the 5 ml. Now it's up to me to figure out what's going on, and I admit it sounds ridiculous. But [American education] I had no idea they were the same until I tried pouring a teaspoon of water in to see which end it fit and discovered it fit both ends. Then it dawned on me that 1 teaspoon equals 5 milliliters! Then I started to wonder why there were two small spoons in the first place. Why not just have an either/or option? But, I suppose, it's nice for balance, and sometimes you just want 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, or something, and you don't have to wipe the spoon clean in between. Or, as the seller's headline put it (and which I apparently missed), one is for wet measurements and the other is for dry measurements. So, the spoons are lovely, and the delivery was quick; there were no issues with the seller, and everything was fine. In addition, I gained knowledge.
This item will do the job and is adequate as a backup set of measuring spoons, but it is extremely light. Although the price is reasonable, I would recommend spending a few dollars more for a heavier product.
I like how they look, how they include 1/8 tsp and 1/2 tbsp, which aren't as common, and how the numbers are engraved, so there's no worry about them rubbing off. Don't be hesitant to purchase these; they're a fantastic addition to my kitchen supplies, which I'm confident I'll keep for many years.
These measuring spoons are one of my favorites. The narrow end comes in handy when measuring spices from small jars. They're also two-sided, which means you can measure liquids on one side and dry ingredients on the other. The only issue is that after three months, two of the spoons have developed rust stains.
