Questions & Answers
On the product itself, there is no indication. They are made of 18/8 stainless steel and are very attractive.
Yes, the measurements have been engraved in great detail. The spoons are also heavy, not light and flimsy, which I appreciate. Penzeys spice jars will also fit them. These are my favorite measuring spoons, and I strongly advise you to get them.
They are 4" tall from the top to the bottom of the bowl. The bowls range in size from half a cup to a tablespoon, with a 2" bowl in the middle.
I compared them to my round measuring spoons with granulated sugar and found that they were identical.

I'm a self-taught cook who enjoys experimenting with various spices. These measuring spoons are exactly what I was looking for: sturdy, well-engineered, and clearly marked. Following are some details after two months of use: br>br>If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words > Stainless Steel Type 18/8 - Well-made and inert. There are no tack welds, burrs, or flaws in this product. Thickness that is consistent. Sturdy. The end result is a satin finish that is easy to clean and appears to be made from a single piece of steelbr>br> > The print should be large and visible. I don't have to think about which spoon size to use. I can choose without looking at my glasses because metric and household measures are stamped or etched in large font. br>br>If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words > Design that is well-thought out - The slim spoon design makes it easy to get into spice jars, and the handles are long enough to reach most bottles. In addition, the handles are straight. When the spoons are taken off the chain, the handle of one can be used to level the contents of the other. There are no material hangups in the spoon area because the edges and corners are rounded. designs that are rounded br>br>If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words > Customer Service from Vendors is Outstanding - When my first shipment of ordered spoons failed to arrive, they promptly sent me a replacement. I asked if they planned to sell individual spoons because I don't like cross-contaminating my spices while meal prepping, and they were very accommodating in answering my questions about options and availability. br>br>Today, I'm going to order a new set. These spoons are fantastic. Deluxe Essentials, thank you very much!.
The front edge of the 1/8 teaspoon bowl has a sharp gouge. br>Scratches on metal Other spoons have flaws in them. br>However, the design is attractive. Fits in spice jars nicely. This is the second time I've tried this set. br>I'll also be returning this one.
I'd call it unbendable because it's so heavyweight. The insides of the bowls have a rough polish to them (almost as if they were scratched with a wire brush). Unwrapping three of my set's sharp edges (on the far end of the handle) resulted in a minor cut. I was going to have a friend buff out those edges until I noticed some of the bowls' rims had more rough, sharp areas around them. It's a pity because they have vibrant stamped markings and are the correct sizes.
The spoons are well-made in general. I'm not sure why the manufacturer didn't file and buff the handle ends during the production process. The very square cut on the top of the handle can be felt if you use the spoons with your fingers and hold them by the handles, as most people do. It's almost as if it were a raw cut that needed to be filed and buffed. Apart from that, I think the spoons are nice; a few minor tweaks and you've got yourself a great product. I filed and fine sanded mine myself and they're now perfect.
Avoid wasting money on round measuring spoons that won't fit into narrow spice jars. Would make a wonderful gift for someone who cooks frequently and values high-quality kitchenware.
I'm making a change to my previous review. First, the set was missing one teaspoon and a spoon, so I didn't give it five stars. They contacted me and sent me a brand new set without contacting the supplier. I didn't need to return the other one. They replaced the set within one or two days, which I was very pleased with. The spoons have a long handle and are very attractive. Nicely marked. And they're small enough to fit in my spice cabinets. The world is in perfect order.
These measuring spoons are perfect for me. I have the leveler and measuring cups set, which is very well made and precise. The measuring spoons fit in almost all of my spice and herb containers, which is why I prefer these to all of my other sets. The tablespoon will not fit in a couple of the containers, but this is due to the shape of the container, not the measuring spoon. If you're thinking about getting these, I can assure you that you will not be disappointed. br>br>I've washed these several times and they haven't rusted in the least. I require reading glasses and have no difficulty reading the measurements while wearing them. The measurements are etched deeply enough that I can read them clearly; the difficulty in reading is due to my age rather than the spoons. These are well worth the investment. I have not experienced any of the problems mentioned in the lower ratings, but I also do not own a dishwasher. I usually dry them and put them away rather than allowing water to sit on them, but this isn't always the case.
These are EXACTLY the type of measuring spoons that should be used. br>The narrow rectangle is small enough to fit into almost any spice jar. br>Precise leveling is easy thanks to the long rectangle's flat top. br>The measurement on the spoon is STAMPED into the steel and will never wear off. Stainless steel can be washed thousands of times in the dishwasher. If you want to nest spoons, you can do so easily. Most jars have a long handle that reaches the bottom. br>Comprehensive set of measurements, including the most commonly used ones. br>Lifetime tools. br>br>Ordered two sets as gifts for young adults who are just getting their feet wet in the real world. Both of them were ecstatic, if not overjoyed. They called me right away to express their gratitude. Yes, this is a good choice. br>br>These spoons avoid some features that I've discovered I dislike:br>There are no magnets. Magnetized spoons stick together or to something at inconvenient times. br>This isn't a piece of plastic. Some plastic measuring spoons' handles curl over time and aren't round. br> Round spoons, especially the 1 Tablespoon size, frequently get stuck in the mouth of spice jars. br>Handles should not be too short. Short handles have one advantage: they take up less room in a drawer, but they are too short to reach the bottom of a jar when necessary. br>Labels are not painted. Except for the stamped labels, all measurement labels wear off. Good spoons. br>br> Make an excellent, low-cost present - as well as for yourself br>br>Cook frequently. Prepare your food thoroughly. Be well.
