Measuring Spoons: U-Taste 18/8 Stainless Steel Measuring Spoons Set of 6 Piece: 1/8 tsp, 1/4 tsp, 1/2 tsp, 1 tsp, 1/2 tbsp & 1 tbsp Dry and Liquid Ingredients

I'm a big baker, and I have measuring spoon sets from Cuisipro and Endurance, both of which are rated as the best in terms of quality and accuracy. However, I've been looking for a long time for the 1/3 tsp spoon measure that's required when multiplying or reducing recipes in thirds, as well as when mixing spices. This U- In terms of quality, the taste set is astonishingly similar. The spoons fit together nicely and take up very little space, despite the fact that there are nine pieces. The set has a nice weight to it and is very comfortable to use. I also compared the accuracy of this set to the accuracy of the other two sets I own, and the differences are insignificant. Professionals have declared the Cuisipro and Endurance sets to be accurate, but when I weigh a tablespoon of sugar (which should be 12), I get a different result. Both weigh 5 grams on a small jewelry scale, but they aren't exactly the same. The 1/2 tablespoon of sugar (as shown in the photo) and 1 teaspoon (not shown) were both slightly off. Unless you're doing scientific experiments, this set is accurate and durable enough to be your only cooking and baking set.

"That 1/16th spoon looks too big," I thought as I took them out of the package. " We already have an 1/8th teaspoon from a different brand that I use almost every day, so I had a good starting point. I had the perfect measuring tool - a couple of narrow plastic syringes that I keep on hand to give my cat medication. a syringe with hash marks all the way down to zero 01 mL. br>br>A teaspoon is one eighth of a teaspoon. 63 milliliters, to the nearest milliliter. I filled the barrel halfway with water, tapped out the air bubbles, and squirted out the excess water until there was none left. 63 mL. This quantity perfectly filled my 1/8 teaspoon. br>br>As a result, 1/16th of a teaspoon is equal to 0. rounded to 31 mL I filled the 1/16th teaspoon in this set with the contents of the syringe using the same fill procedure as the previous one. There was still a significant amount of headroom. This couldn't possibly be correct. This 1/16th teaspoon has a volume that is probably closer to my exact 1/8th teaspoon (different brand). Since I bought this set for the odd sizes like 1/16th and 1/3rd tsp, as well as the fact that they're all zip-locked, I'm going to assume the rest of the set is defective and will return it. br>br>China, you may be the king of low-cost mass-production. It's fine to make manufactured goods, but it's not cool to play games with cooks by providing us with inaccurate measuring devices.

"Get these measuring spoons!" I tell them. " They are sturdy (heavier than I anticipated), made entirely of stainless steel (no welds), with no nooks or crannies in which dirt can hide, and they are attractive. Even though they're a little pricey, you'll have these for years, so you'll be saving money compared to throwing away cheap old plastic ones with worn-out markings. The only thing I didn't like about them was that they were manufactured in China, but let's be honest. Stainless steel made in the United States is rare. I adore them so much that I threw away all of my old plastic ones after opening, inspecting, and washing them all. These measuring spoons are fantastic!.

These babies, on the other hand, are fantastic after owning cheap ones. When you're looking forward to going to the utensil drawer and pulling out such a nice set of spoons, it's pretty bad! Now I'm hoping to find a set of measuring cups that are as good as my spoons.

PICS were requested by the company! In the first photo of each spoon, you can see the size of the spoon, and then in the second photo, you can see a close-up of the spoon. clean up the mess, then move on to the next spoon with a measurement on it, and finally close the door. I didn't do all of the spoons, but the gouged and rough spots on the 1 tbsp and 1/2 tbsp are visible! a quarter teaspoon, a smidgeon of a teaspoon of a teaspoon of a teaspoon of a teaspoon br>br>I did my best, given that I was photographing with a tablet and that these were metal spoons! It's difficult to capture the "feeling of sharpness" in a photograph, but I believe you can see the nicks and rough surfaces! Because I make an effort to be environmentally conscious. br>br> I try to do business with environmentally friendly companies, so I offered to recycle what I could of the usable spoons and see if hubby could file off any rough spots so they could be used for something where I'd be wearing gloves - I enjoy weighing and measuring gardening supplies! br>br>THESE CAN'T BE USED AS BAKANG SPOONS - MY SKIN WILL BE HURT! These spoons are a present for my mother, who informed me that the set she has used since the dawn of time is now missing some pieces. But I gave these spoons to her early because she needed a spoon from her old set and wanted to bake a few things before Christmas. These measuring spoons not only arrived two days ahead of schedule, but they are also of the highest quality my mother and I have ever seen. And this is coming from a woman who has done her fair share of baking.
