I wasn't sure if the TBSP spoon in this set would fit, but I hoped it would at the very least. br>br>I was *extremely* happy to discover that the TBSP fits perfectly into the jars' necks. The jar's opening is 1 1/8" wide, and the TBSP spoon's width is 1". The spoons themselves are of good quality. They're made of thick stainless steel and are dishwasher safe. I'm very pleased with the results, and I'll be ordering more.
I was preparing a dish that required a half tablespoon of a variety of spices. I looked through my kitchen and dishwasher for one of the measuring spoons, thinking I had misplaced it. I was perplexed when I looked at the product image and saw that the set didn't include a half tablespoon. I was under the impression that measuring spoon sets were standard, but that was not the case. A good product in general.
It was built to last. The text is simple to follow. Pros : My spice jars easily accommodate the spoons. (It was purchased from Amazon. ) The Table spoon, however, is a little too wide to fit into the McCormic Organic glass jar type top (Aozita 24 piece with labels). All of the others go well in any spice jar of any size. I like that this set has more measurements for different sizes than most other sets. These are strong, but not overly so. As a result, it fits perfectly into my one and only kitchen drawer. a very small amount They also fit well together. So far, they appear to be simple to clean. But I haven't tried it on something as thick and sticky as honey. The measurements appear to be correct. I did a few wt tests to see if they were accurate. on my electronic weighing scale First, I used a 1 gram certified weight to double-check the scale's accuracy. Then I compared teaspoon measurements by weight and volume in a few wet and dry measurements. Before adding the dry ingredients, I zeroed out the weight of the spoon. If you bake, and you're the type of cook who uses exact weight and volume measurements, this could be crucial. This set has longer handles than most others. As a result, getting to the bottom of most jars is a lot easier. br> Contrary to popular belief, there are some disadvantages to using this product. The only issue I had was getting the ring that holds them together to open. However, I intend to leave the spoons on the ring in order to avoid having to search through the drawer for a specific size, which is actually a benefit for me. br>They come in a small box and are extremely well packaged. As a result, they're ideal for gift-giving because they're simple to wrap. After that, the small box was stuffed into a padded envelope. So it arrived in perfect condition and on time; if you're comparing sets, make sure to check the delivery time before finalizing your purchase. I was considering purchasing another set from this site, but it would have taken much longer to arrive, whereas this set arrived in just two days. br>Another feature that appeals to me is that the markings are relatively easy to read and will not fade over time like printed labels. br>I would order this brand again if I ever needed another set for myself or as a gift. The same vendor is being used. No, I never accept any kind of payment or bribe in exchange for my reviews.
Don't waste your money on these unless you only want them for the sake of appearances. When I compared the volume of these to the volume of my current measuring spoons, I discovered that these hold significantly more. You could just strew ingredients in haphazardly and see what happens. Such a letdown.
Despite the fact that I've only had a brief opportunity to use them, I'm very pleased with my purchase. When I took these out of the Amazon box, I was taken aback by how heavy they were. These are extremely durable. They nest inside each other, making them very compact, but they can also be removed from the ring and stored separately. I put them in the dishwasher after they were opened and they were fine; I'm sure I'll be using them for a long time.
For a long time, I'd wanted a set of rectangular or oval spoons, but the only ones I could find were magnetized, which I didn't want- If you put them away even slightly damp, they will stick together and stink! There are no magnets on these! Hooray! They were mentioned in one of the cooking shows I watch on YouTube, and I found and bought them in minutes. Except for the test-tube type, they're small enough to fit into the tiniest spice jar lid I've ever seen! They're extremely durable and simple to read. The top and bottom of the handle have measurements- They're long enough to reach the bottom of any spice jar and, of course, easy to clean thanks to their stainless steel construction. I'm giddy with excitement! They were sent out quickly, were well-packaged, and arrived in good condition. These are fantastic, and I wholeheartedly endorse them, as does Becky at Acre Homestead. They'd be perfect for stocking stuffers.
With these spoons, however, this is not the case. I was dissatisfied with the quality.
I wasn't expecting them to be as sturdy as they are, and the engraving is very legible. I also appreciate the fact that they are made of stainless steel rather than plastic or aluminum. I've been switching over to organic spices, but it bothered me that my measuring spoons wouldn't fit into the jars. As a gift, I recently purchased several jars of Organic Spices for each of my three daughters. I'm going to order three more sets of these high-quality spoons for my daughters now that I've received them. It will be a Valentine's Day present for them.
