Questions & Answers

Where do these come from? Is it true that they are manufactured in the United States of America?

They are not marked with any ware from the United States of America, but they are fantastic. They're sturdy, and they clean up easily in the dishwasher.

Do the numbers stay on after several uses, or is it just a guessing game? Is it possible for them to be disassembled and placed in the smaller spice bottles? Is $13 a good deal? 00?

Because the numbers are etched into the handle, they will not wash away. They come with a ring and a chain, both of which can be removed. The tablespoon may not fit into a small spice jar (I tried it on the small cans and the tbls was just a tad too big). This was the tiniest container I had, but everything else fit perfectly. ml and tsp are both available. They're made of stainless steel as well. They seemed to be worth $13 to me.

Is it 18/8 or 18/10 stainless steel?

On the reverse side of mine, the words "stainless steel" are stamped, but there is no indication of grade. They're drab and have a "worn-in" look to them. I'm not fond of the "in" look. For decades, I've had a stainless steel round set that still looks brand new. They are still as gleaming as the day I purchased them. The following items will be returned: They were on America's Test Kitchen, and I saw them there - This is the first bad suggestion.

What is the tablespoon's width? I want to make sure it will fit in my spice jars' openings. ?

It's about 1 1/2 " long, as far as I can tell. It won't fit in my spice jars and tins, but I only need a tablespoon of one of those every now and then, and if I do, I use 3 teaspoons= 1 tablespoon.

Spoons are fantastic
5/5

again! We recently purchased a second set of these spoons because we frequently require more than one and our previous set was not nearly as pleasant to use. When I went to place my order, I saw a few reviews that said the quality had deteriorated. I've only got one thing to say: It does not appear to me to be the case. I took photos of both sets and shared them on social media. On the left are the old ones, while the right has the new ones. I got some water and double-checked this after one reviewer said they didn't measure the same - When I carefully poured liquid into one from the other, I couldn't tell the difference in fill. Rough edges were mentioned by one reviewer as a complaint. Mine are nicely finished in both sets. There were three major distinctions: two of which are completely cosmetic. 1) The old set was shinier, while the new one was a little darker and muted. (This is especially noticeable in the bowl. ) The handles on the old set are a little more scraped up, so they appear to be duller. 2) The fonts used for the Cuisipro logo at the bottom have changed. It wasn't until I handed them over to capture point that I realized it. 3) The new set has a smaller curve at the spoon's tip. I'm not completely satisfied with this because, on the old set, they sat flat, whereas on the new set, they tilt slightly more. We didn't use this very often in practice, but it was nice to have it as an option when we needed it. However, for dry goods, friction may be sufficient to keep items in the spoon. It is possible to wish. (Sorry, should have tested this before pouring water in 'em. ) In any case, both sets are far and away superior to anything else we've tried, so hopefully having this will reduce any but- you- got- favorite-spoons is a term used to describe a group of people who share First, there was grumbling. A word about these and their counterparts. version with a longer rectangle: Both will make reaching into jars much easier. I prefer this oval shape because I believe ingredients distribute more evenly in it (circles distribute even better, but they don't fit into jars as well, so there's always a trade-off). offs. ) but I believe it is primarily a personal choice.

They aren't counterfeit; they are, however, of inferior quality
3/5

I bought these spoons 6 years ago and thought they were fine, nicely finished and rigid, and a good value for the money; however, I recently purchased another set and they are not the same; a lot thinner (as seen in the photo) They bend easily and have a sloppy finish. I noticed that the typeface had changed, and I saw notes on Amazon that made me suspicious that they were fakes. I sent photos to Cuisipro, a Browne and Co division, and they never responded, which is telling. This is how I believe they were created. Just be aware that the spoons are no longer the same; read more recent reviews and consider looking for a quality product elsewhere; too bad.

The edges of the spoons in the advertisement are nice and smooth
3/5

The edges of the spoons in the advertisement are nice and smooth. The edges of the spoons (all of them) are rough and pitted. I believe the high ratings were earned at one point, but there appears to be a quality control issue developing.

Worth it! "How come I paid $15 for measuring spoons?" I wondered at first
5/5

" Well - The truth is that I was in a hurry and didn't give a damn because I liked the way they looked. I would have classified them as an indulgence and never purchased them if I had taken the time to think about the cost rationally. Which would have been a shame because PEOPLE, THESE ARE THE LOVELIEST MEASUREMENT SPOONS I'VE EVER KNOWN. They're easy to work with - They're like a Tiffany ring in terms of weight. They take up less room in the drawer - They aren't round, but oblong. They are simple to implement. read, with measurements etched deeply enough to be legible My old, bent, blank spoons had come loose from their ring, and two of them were always missing - These spoons are connected by a small ball. They'll be able to stay together indefinitely if they form a chain. Seriously, I was pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable it was to use these while cooking - Who'd have guessed, eh? If you just want to put an end to the craziness and use a grown-up word, These are the spoons you're looking for if you're looking for a new set.

These weren't my favorite, but they were ATK's winning measuring spoons, so I bought them
3/5

They don't impress me at all. Advantages: br>br>
- High-quality and long-lasting br>- 18/8 stainless steel is thin and strong. br> ACCURATE!
- Where the scoop meets the handle, it has a narrow handle. br>- Oval spoons to allow more spice jars to be filled. Because the Tablespoon is 36 mm wide, it will fit into some large spice jars but not into a Spice Islands spice jar or a glass McCormick spice jar. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product.
- Because the handles are so short, it's difficult to reach the bottom of taller containers. br>- If the spoons are removed from the rings, the ring will be extremely unbalanced. I don't like it when measuring spoons are connected while in use because it's easy to get all of the other measuring spoons dirty/sticky if you have to measure oil or sticky stuff with the tablespoon. I toss the rings out and store them in a small box in the back of my drawer. Have a go at it. It will transform your life, unless you use these spoons, in which case it will be extremely awkward because they were designed to be stuck together.
- There isn't a half-teaspoon or a quarter-teaspoon to be found These are some of the most common measurements used in ATK recipes. If these were included, it would be ideal. However, if you keep them together (which you should because they are unbalanced), they will be extremely bulky.
- When compared to rounded spoons, the oval shape is a little more difficult to master. This isn't a big deal, but rounded spices are a little easier to work with—at the cost of not fitting into as many spice jars. (PS: Get a 6 oz paragon glass jar with a 53mm top if you want spice jars that can actually fit a tablespoon, even if it's rounded. ).

This purchase has left me extremely disappointed
3/5

Several of the spoons' top edges are jagged and sharp, which surprised me. I read the reviews and discovered that I am not the only one who has had this problem. This purchase has left me extremely disappointed.

These make it simple to remove spices from jars
5/5

Because of their unique shape, they can easily fit into smaller spice or herb jars. You won't have to worry about their measurements being washed away because they're stamped on the handle. They're held together and organized by a durable, secure clip ring. Despite their unusual shape, everyone who has seen them has asked where I got them and commented on how cool they look. They are powerful, but if you put enough pressure on them, they will bend - If you tried to lift your stand mixer with them, I'm sure they'd bend, but for the purpose you've described, you've found a winner!.
