Years ago, I owned an old West Bend and it held up well- The minimum number of ten is In the end, I purchased a new one that was not as sturdy but cost a lot less. The only time I use it is a few times a month and I don't have it that long.

There was no break-in period and it worked well for years. The rice cooker has been used to make chili, beef stew, chicken taco and burrito recipes, and Asian dishes, of course. My desire for another West Bend was sparked when the old one finally gave out. That's what I love about.
This was a great replacement. 32 years old, yes! I am sure my wife used our old wok once or twice a week since we love Chinese food. Even though it was still functional, it began to look shabby. We have already used this new one three times already and it seems to be the same quality as the old one, but with some improvements on the base and other aspects. The computer was packaged in the West Bend box that you would expect to see for a computer. This is an amazing product!.
I am very happy with my new WOK which replaces one I had for a long time. Despite that, I prefer the old temperature controller over the new one simply because it showed the desired cooking temperatures for different items right on the knob. With the new one, only the temperature is displayed on the dial, so you'll need to remember what temperature is best, if you don't have a recipe book handy. The only thing I wish is that it had a single handle so you could use a spoon to remove items from the wok. In this case, you have to hold both handles with both hands to tip items from the wok to the plate or.
The Made in China versus the Made in the USA debate The product is manufactured in the United States. A few years ago, I received my first West Bend Wok as a wedding gift. Made in the USA, that should tell you everything you need to know about it. Despite the fact that my new wok is made in China and cooks well, the quality of the build, especially the heat control, is nowhere near as good as my old wok. of the wok have already begun to loosen, however, they are easy to tighten back down. The wok is still good and I recommend it as a cooking tool however, I have noticed that they no longer make them like they used to. It'll be lucky if I can get five more years out of this one.
Due to food sticking to the bottom of my old wok, I had to get a new wok. My only experience with this one is that I have only used it a few times. An adjustable temperature setting instead of just the normal three options is provided. It makes more sense to me, as it is Furthermore, it does not contain any prohibited substances Stick to it.
During the early 1980's, my mom bought a West Bend Wok and it was finally time to replace it, so this one was a Christmas gift from me. We were amazed at how quickly it heated up, so quickly that we heard the oil boiled in less than 10 seconds! She loves it. It is so comfortable cooking in this wok, and with such a great price, it seems unlikely that we would not like it. In addition to the short power cord, the only other drawback is the length of the power cord. With an A-, I rate it During the next 30 years, we will hold on to this work.
It's taken me years to decide whether buying an electric one makes sense, but when I saw a street vendor in China using one, I thought, "Hey, this seems ok!". A wattage of 1500W is very high on this one and it can heat up quickly and cook for a long time. Highly recommended.
All in all, it's a pretty good movie. As for the bottom of the skillet, it's flat and large, and more like a pan than a wok, so that's the only thing I didn't quite like. This skillet is easy to clean, and it heats up fairly fast. Just the lid had to be assembled, and my 7 year old was able to do it without accompanying.
