It is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time.
While the wok supplied is quite good, it also fits my favorite seasoned Wok Shop cast iron wok perfectly, as you can see in the photograph. The temperature is easily controlled while cooking with the dials on that cover the heating element and the cooking area. I use it 2 or 3 times a week and it performs superbly. The device did not heat evenly as it was described It heats along the bottom only when I try cooking with it when I first received it. As described in the product, it heats uniformly across the surface of the wok. This product did not heat to the advertised temperature.

While it is possible to burn out some oil in this wok, it is impossible to burn out all of it as the induction coil only covers the bottom part. I tried tipping and tilting the wok for half an hour, but nothing worked. Induction base gets three stars due to its efficiency.

It would have been more profitable for NuWave to ship a far more mediocre product. Instead the company shipped a real steel wok knowing they would have to endure negative reviews from people who had no idea how to use it. You both did a fantastic job! The induction wok you have purchased is great. It is easy to season, it heats up in seconds, it maintains high enough temperatures, and it is large enough to prepare enough dishes for a family of five. Stir fryers and deep fryers haven't seen anything like it for stir frying or deep frying, and range top woks can't compete with it in terms of ease of use, utility and even heat response. It's brilliant. I cannot express how pleased and impressed I am with this product and with your company for bringing it to market. I will be recommending it to others.

Not suitable for use with a regular flat bottom fry pan, this unit can be used only with a Wok skillet. It is a potent cooktop heat source that my wife purchased. In your opinion, NuWave does not provide a refund policy that is fair to customers. A NuWave refund of only $71 has been issued. One hundred and three dollars are divided into 38 shares. The order is for 50 items. The 32 dollars have been taken from us. There are twelve! You may want to keep your eyes open.

This product is a must-have for anyone who enjoys cooking Chinese food. A wok heated by electric current can take much longer to heat up. Because of its high temperature, you can cook better food when using this wok than one heated by electricity. It took me some time to decide whether or not to buy it because I worried it would be slow to heat, but that's not an issue the only way that it can heat faster is with a high output It was worth every penny I spent on It has been months since I have had a negative experience with it.

I just got this in the mail yesterday. There was so much excitement in my heart. It takes a while to burn off the factory oil from a wok when you first get it. The wok heats only in the bottom center as it does with my gas range. What I have here is a wok that is 25% seasoned. The range I have is simpler than my gas range, so I was hoping it would provide a better cooking experience. The oil was too hot for my electric range, so I had to use my gas range to finish burning it off. A second problem is that the fan for my oven is over a metal surface. Because I can't operate this item on metal surfaces, my smoke alarm now goes off due to the lack of venting.
