I discovered the answer in the following manner: When I googled "where are melitta coffee filters made," the first result was Clearwater, Florida (or bing, or Norton safe search). (which corresponds to the information on the package, but I'm aware that it isn't depicted on Amazon's sales information). The Melitta Coffee Company website was the second entry, and it had a lot of coffee-related information on it. information about this Enjoy.
Mr. Coffee is the name of the coffee maker I use: It demonstrates that: The reservoir indicator on the side is labeled for 1-cup and has 4 C markers and says " 5 cups " if filled to the rim. 5 C. br>These filters are a fraction of the size of the (extremely common). The coffeemaker's "basket" fits perfectly in the 8-cup filters. As a result, the response is a resounding affirmative. It should work for you, in my opinion. br>If you've tried using the larger filters but found that they "gather in" because they're a little bigger (causing the filter to collapse inward when the water came down), strewing coffee grounds all over the place and destroying the coffee pot)- Then you've come to the right place.
My concern is the same - This was discovered on Amazon for the same product. "About the productbr>Premium coffee filters from the world's number one coffee filter brandbr>Fits all 4 to 6 cup electric drip coffeemakers with flat bottom basket style filter holdersbr>Holds their shape and won't tearbr>Oxygen cleansed elementally Chlorine Free pulp paperbr>Melitta makes an annual donation to American forests global relief ecosystem restoration projects to fund the replenishment of trees used in the production of its filters"
It was for the 5 cup that I ordered it. For a 12 cup, I believe it would be too small. Perhaps there is a size for the 12-cup coffee maker.

We were unable to locate these smaller basket coffee filters in any of the stores in our immediate vicinity. Thank you, Amazon; when we can't find it anywhere else, it appears you have it this time and every time: br>br>Oh, I'm sure they're great; I've got a mini pot on the stove right now. D is for coffee maker. I use these instead of the coffee maker's built-in permanent filter. They blend in well with the coffee and leave no lingering flavor.
This is a very thin filter. I've had the side collapse on several occasions, allowing the coffee grounds to enter the coffee pot. I've never had anything like this before, and I'm not sure if it's because of the brand or because I bought a bad batch of filters. My next purchase will be from a different brand.
They're ideal for my four-year-old daughter. cup Mr. Coffee machine, which I use as a supplement to the plastic/metal filter basket that comes with the machine but frequently lets fine coffee grounds through. These are ideal for me because I don't like gritty coffee. This supply will last a long time because I only use one per day. It's worth noting that small basket filters are difficult to come by, so Amazon is a godsend! Another point to consider: After I've used them, I rip them up and toss them in my compost pile.
g. , 2-cup coffee makers), Only BIG filters (for brewing 6-gallon batches) are available. 12 cups) can be found in the stores- So it was great to come across smaller ones like this online, which fit well in coffee makers that can only brew two cups at a time. a maximum of 5 cups To keep them from flattening out while waiting to be used, store them in an empty coffee can. Not because the filters are defective, but because I've discovered that keeping them "small diameter" helps them maintain the small muffin cup footprint and keep coffee grounds IN the filter. They're fantastic.
So now I use the same ones I use for the 12 cup, which are slightly too large but preferable to being too small.
I've used these filters in the past and they work great in my Walmart 5-cup coffee maker. Others have complained that they are too thin, but I've never had an issue with them collapsing. br>br>I have a delivery issue, despite the fact that the filters are fine. Although they are supposed to be Amazon Prime, delivery is taking nearly a week.
These filters are a favorite of my father's for his small coffee maker. Although it appears that our local supermarket no longer carries them, I was able to locate them on Amazon. They were identical to the ones he usually buys when they arrived.
