This filter isn't necessary, but it does filter out the oil in the coffee that can raise your cholesterol. This can only be filtered out with paper filters.

I had grounds in my coffee almost every day after switching to these: (br>I bought a couple of different kinds and compared them. Yes, indeed! All around, it's a quarter-inch smaller. We brew 10 cups of coffee at a time, so these would be ideal for those who brew smaller pots.
I was under the impression that these were three inches tall, but they are only standard, and the first use left foreign material in the pot. When they get wet, some of them fold over. To keep the wall from laying flat and allowing water to pass through, a screen must be placed on top of it.
This is my first purchase of this brand, and I'm blown away by how much fresher my coffee tastes. I've never been a coffee drinker for the flavor, but wow, it was delicious. A good coffee filter, I suppose, can make a significant difference. I never buy cheap or generic coffee, so it's possible that the problem was with the cheap filters I was using the whole time.
These were exactly what I was looking for, but the price was far too high for me to purchase them again.
When it comes to removing harmful diterpenes from coffee, paper filters outperform metal permanent filters. I like that I don't have to use the bleached white filters, which allows me to drink a healthier coffee. br>br>I also compost the used grounds and used filters to fertilize my garden and improve the quality of my tomatoes.
For the sake of convenience, I switched from espresso and french press coffee to drip. I wanted an unbleached coffee filter because it's one less toxin I don't have to worry about getting into my system. br>br>These hold up well after brewing; I don't detect anything that would interfere with the coffee's flavor. There were no grounds to pass through. If the price remains reasonable and fair, I will most likely be a repeat customer of this brand.
When I've tried to throw away filters, they've all ripped. It'll only be a matter of time before I have to sweep up coffee grounds from the floor. They'll serve as filters, but dispose of them carefully.
Edit: I'm going to give it a one-star rating now. It did tear on the way to the trash, and now there are coffee grinds all over the floor. Purchase these items at your own risk.
What else is there to say? They're coffee filters, after all.
