Questions & Answers

Is it true that this product is made in America?

The headquarters of the United States are in Florida, while the headquarters of the European Union are in Germany. They are made in both locations.

What does "microfiber perforations" actually mean? Is this only referring to the size of the perforations, or is it also referring to the mixed fiber content?

The word "microfine" is used instead of "microfiber." They have small perforations on the side that allow some coffee to pass through rather than all of it going to the bottom of the cone filter. Everything about the filter is made of paper.

How do I return these filters, which arrived crushed and unusable in a bag? I'm going around in circles with a third-party vendor. ?

I'm afraid I can't assist with the return, but if you're stuck with them, there are other options. They can be used to line the bottoms of flowerpots, serve snacks, and clean windows and mirrors.

When wet, they maintain their original shape
5/5

I've tried budget brands as well as "house" brands from well-known companies because I'm on a tight budget. Stores that are well-known all over the country It is something I will not repeat. These are the best filters on the market, and they're also backed by a lifetime warranty. "You get what you pay for," according to the axiom. They don't fold over or collapse when you use them, especially if you press the seam against the coffee basket for a few seconds before adding the coffee grounds. Furthermore, when I have the opportunity, I prefer to support quality brands that have been around for a long time. These filters bear the name of the woman who "invented" them a long time ago, and it seems worthwhile to continue supporting the company that makes them because the standard of quality has not been compromised for greater profit.

Coffee Filters of the highest quality
5/5

Melitta unbleached coffee filters consistently appear to be of good quality. They're capable of holding much more than just coffee grounds. On top of my Organic, Fair Trade, Medium Roast, I like to sprinkle other healthy, natural, flavor-enhancing ingredients. Organic Cinnamon powder, Organic Cardamon powder, and Vanilla Pyure Organic Liquid Stevia Extract sweetener are among the ingredients in my cup. Delectable! It tastes better than anything you'd get at a high-end coffee shop. I'll also throw in some organic, raw cacao from time to time. Also worth noting (if you've had filter breakage with other brands): no matter how quickly I pour hot water through my Ceramic Pour Over Coffee Dripper, the Melitta filters always hold everything! )br>br>On a more negative note- I do feel compelled to make a comment (for the sake of clarity and also because I was irritated) about how two different people responded to one of my valid questions. One response was fairly helpful (albeit with some inaccurate information) and posted by a fellow Amazon customer, whereas the other response was just a sarcastic, IMO total time waster, and it appears as though Is it possible that the sarcasm was sent by a Melitta Company Representative? I'm having second thoughts. Amazon's reviews and questions serve a specific purpose. are intended to be useful resources for other Amazon customers who may have similar concerns or questions. However, the Melitta "Product Description" actually states (as of 07-03, I took a screenshot and copied and pasted) 21) quotation: br>"The microfiber has a unique flavor. Someone must correct the Product Description so that it is 100% clear and not misleading. br>Microfine is a completely different term than microfiber! If the description had been more specific, it would have said: I would never have asked my question if "microfine" had been the answer, because "Microfine" would have been obvious to me. Microfiber, on the other hand, is a different story! Despite the fact that it is widely used in a variety of applications and is regarded as a useful, soft, and strong fiber by many companies and customers. It is, without a doubt, poisonous! Because some reputable tea companies (with otherwise healthy teas) use plastic fibers in their tea bag filters, it isn't a stretch to wonder if a coffee filter company used Microfiber combined with paper fiber. Microfiber, like plastic, is harmful to the environment. rivers, lakes, and, most importantly, the oceans THIS WAS THE PRIMARY CAUSE OF MY CONCERN AND WHY I ASKED THE QUESTION IN THE FIRST PLACE. br>br>In terms of self-employment, Supposed 'deep thinking' jerk who told me to "Think" after responding to my question with a stupid, sarcastic remark. Melitta coffee filters are a type of filter that is used in the production of coffee
5/5

These are, without a doubt, the most effective filters available. For a great cup of coffee, nothing beats thick, unbleached paper. I considered changing the last sentence because it rhymes, but I've decided to keep it.

Two out of five stars

Excessively expensive! I expected to receive 400 filters, but only received 200. The grocery store is less expensive.

Fits a vintage Gevalia coffee maker
5/5

I believe that I own the world's oldest coffee maker. I accepted Gevalia's offer of a free coffee maker in exchange for trying their beans. It's been at least 25 years, and the machine is still going strong! I was worried that filters for such an old machine would be unavailable. These, on the other hand, fit perfectly, and I need a sturdy filter because I do a double pourover. Although there was no convenient tab to separate each filter, I was able to get by with the awkward movements required to choose just one. I'd suggest it.

A crucial feature is absent
3/5

I hadn't purchased coffee filters in a long time and chose Melitta because of its good reputation. br>I made a blunder there. br>On one side, there is a crucial tab that makes it easy to open and place it inside the cone. br>To separate the two sides, you must fumble. For that reason, I will not be purchasing Melitta again. br>At a similar price, there is another filter that is just as good and has that tab. It's the one to get. br>.

Cone filters, where have you been all my life? We purchased a new coffee maker and brought it home only to discover that we were using "regular" coffee filters with a flat bottom, and that we now require cone-shaped filters
5/5

Fortunately, the coffee maker included a few to get you started. I ordered these and they arrived on time; I'm blown away by how much easier it is to use a cone-shaped filter than a traditional one, and I'm not going back.

This Product Has a Bad Reputation! In a literal sense! I can't believe what I'm hearing
3/5

For the past several years, I've been using a less expensive brand of filter and have run out. After all, Melitta invented the process, so I figured I'd go back to the source. Well, I'm not sure what's in their flavor enhancer, but as soon as you open the package, a faint chemical odor wafts into the air, affecting the taste! Be cautious when purchasing something online. This item does not accept returns.
