They are not Cuisinart brand, and the ones I received on January 4, 2019 are counterfeit. They aren't made by Cuisinart, despite the fact that they are listed as such. I'm not sure why they're allowed to be sold on here when so many reviews claim they're fake.
"DCC- I don't have that exact model." I'm not sure if they'd fit because they're made for Cuisinart coffee makers, but I can't imagine they wouldn't.
No, these aren't as big as the stock filters that came with your DCC-equipped car. 3000 They will fit in the filter holder, but not completely, and thus not all of the water will be filtered.
There haven't been any issues with the water failing to pass through the filters. Before installing the filter in the machine, the manufacturer's instructions state that you should run water through it from the faucet.

Every time, the product was marketed as Cuisinart and shown in a Cuisinart box. They were packaged in the same way they were when they left the store. My most recent order, which arrived today, was advertised and pictured (retail box) as Cuisinart, but Teklectric Kitchen and Home sent bulk filters that are smaller (the width is narrower) than the Cuisinart brand. I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED! Today, I noticed that Amazon had taken down the picture of the box, but it was still listed as the "Cuisinart brand. " This filter appears to be the same as the one listed in a 12-pack of filters. pack, in which all of the product's reviewers agree. br>As of March 24, 2018, there has been an update. Cuisinart responded that this information would be forwarded to their corporate office for review. They also recommended that you buy from one of their recommended retailers (such as Bed Bath Beyond).
It's not. Grab a cheap ripoff if you don't mind an off-brand ripoff. This product has no value when compared to the clones that are available for less money. When I'm drinking 2 liters of water a day through this, I'd prefer a real brand. For all you know, it could be dirt trapped in a coffee filter. I'm not interested in participating. Thank you, Amazon, for honoring my request for a refund.
While Cuisinart is mentioned on the individual labels, the rest of the label is written in Chinese. I'm pretty sure these aren't genuine, but rather cheap Chinese knock-offs. offs! I'm not sure I want to drink any of the water that has been filtered through this device. It's impossible to say what chemicals are present.
We compared these filters to the Cuisinart water filters that came with the coffeemaker and found that they are not interchangeable. We had to wait three weeks for these to arrive, which were shipped directly from China. They're flimsier than the originals, and they came in plastic pouches with no indication that they're genuine Cuisinart items (just the word Cuisinart typed on the label, surrounded by Chinese characters). Look at the image. We're not fans of allowing our coffee water to pass through these filters - I'm going to toss.
This does not sit well with me! I reordered the exact same filter that I had previously received, which was a genuine Cuisinart filter. This is not the case. There was no label or information on the item; it was simply in a bag. Someone in China may have scooped some used powder into a sack and sealed it in a bag, for all I know. This is not something I want filtered through my coffee water! When Amazon asks if you want to reorder, it should let you know if the product has changed.
Give up the $3. 4 Starbucks coffees and make something better at home with a clean machine. br>br>MY STORYbr>I live in an area where the water is fine, tastes good, and you can drink it straight from the tap without fear. Despite the fact that my Cuisinart coffee machine is one of the most used and important machines in my daily life (aside from my computer), I've been slacking on its maintenance. br>br>MY OPINIONbr>If you're on the fence about getting these charcoal water filters, I'd say go for it. I had been waiting for a long time. It was VERY nasty when I looked at the one I had in my machine. These substitutes are reasonably priced. I purchased a pair, cleaned the machine, ran a vinegar and water cycle (which I had never done before), and replaced the filter. The coffee was much more enjoyable. OTHER STUFF I TRYEDbr>After doing some research online, I realized I needed to clean out my pot. After running it through a cycle (to ensure there was warm water inside), I scrubbed the pot with chopsticks. I know some tea connoisseurs who insist on only drinking one type of tea in a pot in order to build up a residue layer that enhances the flavor (of that particular tea). I wanted to start over and build up a new layer because I've changed coffee types in the last few years. That, too, was a brilliant decision. The flavor is significantly improved. br>br>The review's moral: Remove the charcoal filters, run a vinegar cycle, wipe down the entire machine, and scrub the pot. br>br>UPDATE: October 29, 2012: br>I purchased a second box of these filters because I value keeping the pot clean and fresh. I used to be lazy about it until I upgraded my filters and ran a vinegar cycle (1:1). 3 mix with water), which improved the flavor significantly; however, a friend who owns a coffee shop taught me an even better trick. Invest in the.
These are replacement charcoal filters for our Cuisinart coffee maker that I purchased. We had a Braun coffee maker for decades with no filters and we have hard water, and I don't taste any noticeable difference now with filters, so I can't rave, but they aren't very expensive and certainly can't hurt. br>br>Charcoal should take out off-flavors. br>br> I'm not sure how effective these small filters are at filtering odors, some impurities, and so on. When the filters that came with the coffee maker run out, I suspect you could just take them out (don't leave them in there forever, or they might leak charcoal dust into the coffee, which would be annoying, or they might get moldy) and run it without any filter cartridges at all, but they probably help some and can't hurt, and they aren't expensive. br>br>They make a more noticeable difference if you have water with odors (sulfur, etc. ) than.
