Questions & Answers

What makes this different from a white filter?

But I haven't purchased this brand. I usually purchase white filters, but the store was out of them and only had brown, so I purchased them. I discovered that they peel apart much easier, so I now buy brown unbleached.

Is there anyone who has used this to clean and lubricate cast iron? Particles and fibers are left behind when using paper towels. ?

I have some and they work fine; we use a piece of plain steel wool (not sos or a product with soap already on it) and we use these filters for coffee, but I also use them for putting oil in my iron skillet and rubbing it down; alternatively, you can use a silicone brush, which I do occasionally. Because they don't contain any additives, these filters don't leave any residue. I've even used them to clean my windows and there are no streaks or fibers left behind.

Same question as before because no single response appears to provide an answer. Is this a total of 200 pieces or two packs of 200?

It comes in two 200-piece packs.

Is it true that these are only 2" in height? I'm looking for something that's no more than 2" tall. ?

They're not 2" in diameter or smaller. The dimensions are 6 x 6 x 4 inches, as previously stated.

Only a very small basket will fit
3/5

What are your thoughts on coffee filters made of paper? There is no added flavor, and the bag should not be torn (while brewing). Fit. These filters are quite small. br>br> Up to'most 12 cup' makers can be accommodated. Maybe my machine is a little bigger than the norm. This filter, on the other hand, does not reach halfway up the basket's height or cover the basket's bottom. This results in a small filter becoming wet and collapsing even more as the brew progresses. br>br>It would be useful to have the filter's actual dimensions (base and/or flat filter diameters, as well as side heights). br>br>Must look at other options before returning to these.

WAY TOO SMALL FOR OUR EIGHT-YEAR-OLD CHILDREN A 12-cup coffee maker is available
3/5

I . WAY TOO SMALL FOR OUR EIGHT-YEAR-OLD CHILDREN A 12-cup coffee maker is available. I've attached a photo, and the filter on the right is Melitta from the BOTTOM of the pack, which is already the most dispersed.

Filters that have not been bleached are better for the environment and, in some cases, for you
5/5

Choosing an unbleached coffee filter may seem like a minor detail, but it's one that benefits the environment and, possibly, you. These filters haven't been bleached white by a process involving chlorine and oxygen, so you don't have to worry about these chemicals (in whatever trace amounts) getting into your coffee and, thus, your body. These filters are not too thin, and the resulting coffee tastes identical to that produced with bleached filters. The flat- Most 8-inch cake pans will fit bottomed filters, which resemble cupcake liners. Coffee pots that hold 12 cups.

These coffee filters are my favorite because they contain no bleached paper, which means they won't interfere with the taste of your coffee
5/5

Melitta Natural filters are nice and thick, and they're easy to separate. I have to admit that I am a coffee addict. LOTS. Because I am a coffee addict, I am as picky about my coffee filters as a sommelier is about wine, so it's great to know I can save money on these high-quality filters that are delivered right to my door. There will no longer be any shortages. I also use them in my flower beds as compost. There's no need to be concerned because they're all natural and unbleached.

This is perfect for straining yogurt! I'm not a coffee drinker, so I'm not sure what makes a "good" coffee filter, but these appear to be well-made and do the job
5/5

When I strained homemade yogurt through store-bought filters, they tore every time I scooped the yogurt off of them. So I decided to give these Melitta Natural Brown ones a try, and I'm glad I did. They're a little thicker than standard white filters, which initially made me skeptical, but they seemed to strain out more whey in less time, and I've only had one tear out of maybe 20 that I've used so far. When I run out of these, I will definitely repurchase them.

Don't let the color turn you off
5/5

I'm not sure why, but these coffee filters appeal to me. br>It appears that pinching out a single filter for use is easier than pinching out the whites. , every single time.

The filters are very nice
5/5

The folds are kept in tact. In my ice tea maker, I use these for loose leaf tea. I like that the filters aren't bleached because they don't leave a taste. When I place them in the tea holder, they keep their folds. I've used any filters that don't keep the folds, which leaves pieces of herbs in my ice tea. This was a good buy.

For a while, I used coffee filters, but I didn't care for the bleached ones
5/5

These brown filters from nature are a must. Because local stores were closed for a long time, I had to order from Amazon. The supplier took FOREVER to deliver this product, which was the worst delivery experience I've ever had, but the filters were exactly what I needed.
