Victorinox Wood Breaking 10" Blade, 10 inch, Multi

Here's an update. As shown in the attached image, the 8 inch and 6 inch knives I purchased last year are displayed near the knives I originally purchased in 1987 or 1988. Many years ago, as part of my first career, I worked as a meat cutter in a grocery store. There's no doubt that the equipment in this picture is commercial grade and top quality.

I use it in the kitchen for almost all the tasks I need a knife of that size to perform. Food items include fruits, vegetables, fish, etc. , and steel is of a very high standard. The stones or tools needed to sharpen diamonds can be purchased at most hardware stores. It is not a good idea to buy these if you already own a cheap pull chain The fine edge on these knives can be easily ruined by knife sharpeners or other types of sharpeners that ruin the edge on these knives. If you damage the edge, then these knives are just as good as junk knives.

managed without it. This is my #1 knife when it comes to cutting meat and bits of poultry. believe you can spend more than $100 on a knife, but I don't think there's a better knife under that amount.

This is an excellent tool for trimming fat. The cross section of meat should not be sliced as much once it has been It was only the price that was an issue.

It's a great knife right out of the box, and it's sharp. The fact that I filet, slice, breakdown, you name it, the meat is bought in bulk and I tend to use it a lot. The edge should be kept sharp by running it on a sharpening steel until it needs to be resharpened. It's totally worth it for at home use because of the wood handle to make it look nice. I have it on a polished walnut magnetic knife holder, so it looks good where I keep it since that's my favorite knife. We always knife whatever type of meat we are having for dinner, whether it be beef, pork, or chicken.
