This is a great big knife

My hands really like the handle of this knife. It's different in size than I expected it to be and it's a great size for my size. In general, the knife was sharp. There were just a few spots towards the tip that needed to be touched up, but overall it was able to shave all the hair off my arm. The 7in one will probably be what I get for those small jobs now. I can't wait to use this with my outdoor flat top grill and on my camping and canoe.

You must watch out for rust in knives made by Ontario Knife Company, a company that produces low-frills but durable knives at an affordable price

I've used this company's knives since I moved into my first apartment after graduating from Stylish and well-built, these rugs will look good for years to come. I have a problem with this 12 inch knife in that if I wash it after use and then open the door the next morning, it had rust all over it. I would hand wash it and completely dry it after use. It will rust in an instant if you don't dry it as soon as you wash it due to the type of steel. In addition to that, it is not a fancy knife, just a decent basic knife at a reasonable.

It IS better to be bigger! Having gone to the trouble of grilling a London broil over high heat, you pull this bad boy out and cut paper thin slices that can be piled high on a fresh out of the oven roll is what makes it so special

The best knife in the world! My intention was to add this knife to my other two Old Hickory knives, in particular to slice my smoked and BBQ Several times I've used it, and I found it to hold an edge well, to be well balanced, and to be easy to hold onto

It's a great knife, and this 14 inch butcher knife is excellent value. . . . and at a terrific price. I can't stop picking it up and swinging it around. Heavily built and beefy, it has an excellent feel to My only wish would be if the sheath came with it.

I love the weight and size of the bag. Very happy to find a carbon steel knife of this size, and it is easier to clean and keep stains at bay (just wipe it off and give it a light coating The blades are easy to maintain. You are so right about.
