I made it just in time to celebrate Thanksgiving. I rubbed it over my ceramic rod a couple of times even though it came sharp. The product made it through a 22 pound turkey and a 13 pound smoked ham with no problem. This knife looks gorgeous with my other Henckels Forged Synergy knives, and with a little care when washing and a great dry, it will be shiny ad spotless for a long time. Among the finest knives I ever owned, these are fantastic. Since I am not a chef, I don't even play one on TV, I have a tough time spending my hard-earned money on kitchen utensils. While I do not cook, I do enjoy baking. It is a joy to cook every day, and having a decent set of knives makes it even more enjoyable. Since I am delighted with the Henckels line of forged knives at such an affordable price, I am now looking into their silverware sets to replace the horror that is my Ikea cutlery.
Scored a 13 out of 10 As a gift for the anniversary of my job, I gave my colleagues the Forged Synergy set. 0 has been replaced by 10 With this new set, Oneida replaces its old set from the 1990s. Great job so far on the new set It's so bad that I had to buy another knife to fill out the knife block (3 spots remained unused in the block), so I bought it. This knife line has not been the subject of any complaints.
