The knife is well made and sharp - and it is reasonably priced. This knife fits the bill perfectly for slicing roasts so I bought the knife when I needed one. I have other knives from this company which I have used for a very long time and they stay sharp. We got a great deal on the price. In the past, none of the knives I had purchased from Tramontina have rusted, however, this is a high-quality product, therefore, it is important that you follow instructions on how to maintain it properly. This knife has been put in the dishwasher with no problems. I would highly recommend it.
