Questions & Answers

There are four times the amount of rice that can be cooked in the four minutes. How many quarters are there?

There are plenty of ways to search for it on the web, but here's one The weight of a cup of dry, uncooked rice is about 180 grams. There are 3968 pounds in the pound. A quart is made up of four cups, so 19 cups. In four, two cups would be equivalent to two cups. A total of 8 qt. Therefore, you must multiply 19 by 19 to arrive at the answer. You can get 34,560 grams by multiplying 2 cups (volume) by 180 grams (weight). The mass of 456 kg is not sufficient for this purpose. Multiply 3 by the conversion from kilos to pounds. By multiplying 456Kg by 2, we get 287.7Kg. The weight of 2 kg is 2 pounds. Rice in the amount of 89 pounds. There's too much food to eat all at once. I wish you all the best in your cooking!

What are the safety measures for this pan when washed in the dishwasher?

As Erv Crain points out, I agree with him. It seasons like cast iron over time, somewhat in the same way as cast iron. Darkens and is easier to clean even after it turns black, but it doesn't turn black. The porous nature of the surface means I clean it by hand almost always using a dish brush to remove any dirt. I then dry the towel with a towel and place it back in the oven for a mere minute to dry the pores before letting it cool and storing it. Hope this helps! I am so in love with my caldero and credit it with serving perfect Puerto Rican rice every single time!

This is a great As such, the pot must be taken care of as a unique piece
5/5

I was very satisfied with this product, it arrived looking dirty, but once I washed and coated the pot with olive oil it worked perfectly, it has made perfect rice and stews. You would think that by the material, the food would burn and stick, but it doesn't. The heater heats up quickly and best performs at low temperatures The heat level is medium. In the beginning, I wash the glass with a regular sponge, but after a couple of uses after it begins to look dark, I wash with Brillo pads, which give it a bright, shiny finish.

It is uneven to close the I don't even fit in here
3/5

I was so looking forward to using my pot when I received It washed and started cooking as soon as it was taken out of the bag. The lid doesn't fit, as you can see in the pictures. It wasn't going to fit until I tried to cover it. No matter which way I put the lid on, the edges of the pot and the lid do not meet. Due to the fact that the rice is to be made and the most important thing is a good seal this is very disappointing since I can't even return it as it is already in use.

It's difficult to prepare rice with the lid not closing properly
3/5

After 20 years of cooking rice, I have found that a caldero is best for cooking rice. In case you are wondering, I fell asleep while making rice and broke my last IMUSA cauldron. It's been almost 10 years since my last pot arrived, so I was thrilled. The price is great, and I've been waiting for this one for quite some time. In spite of this, the pot I received is incapable of making rice, literally the only thing with which I use it. This causes lots of steam to escape from the pot due to the lid not fitting snugly. In the beginning, it seemed as though the lid fit fine, but once the rice started steaming, it started slipping. When a pot of rice is left open, it is impossible to cook it well. It is possible to wrap aluminum foil around the top of this pot to keep steam from escaping if you have already been stuck with this pot because you passed the return window. As easy as it would have been to just purchase another pot, I did not want to deal with it every time I made rice. In addition, there are two more design flaws to be addressed. One major flaw of the tool is that the handles quickly become very hot, and a potholder is necessary for handling them. It also cannot be used in the oven since the lid is not oven-safe. Even with the price being low, this could not be a deal breaker for some.

Another tip for those who own one of these is Using olive oil to season the inside of the pot after cleaning it is a very simple and easy procedure. If the rice is not stuck as often, it will be more easily picked up.

That's great! For the price, this is a great cauldron
5/5

It made 2 cups of rice including the liquid. The pot had a 6 quart size and the lid fit flush. It was super easy to clean even with the Seeing 4 for the first time makes me really happy. It was on sale for 8 qt and I bought Excellent product! I am extremely happy with it.

Don't go near him

This is a terrible product. It came with the lid upside down on account of the fact that the lid was so warped that it was impossible to It is true that others have pointed out that the lid has a unique shape. If it is bent, or the casting is incorrect, but I have tried to find the "sweet spot" so it wouldn't have a gap, but I haven't been able to do that. The IMUSA products I have recently received have been of low quality, so I would not consider purchasing anything else from the company. However, even if the software had been able to shut down, the quality wouldn't be great.

The lid is in the wrong place
3/5

Despite the fact that the lid fits, the pot can't be used. My arroz con gandules will not be ready in time for Thanksgiving so now I will be without the pot. The pot without a lid will have to be used for other things as well.

It turned out to be a lot more handy than expected! It seems to be a small pot from the description, but when it comes to single-person cooking (or making side dishes), it is the smart-bomb of Dutch It has an overall size of a hair over seven inches (including handles)
5/5

In fact, the pot is about 5 1/4" high, but its diameter is just under 5 1/4" About 3/8 inches. In less than 10 minutes, it can easily cook 1/4 cup of Basmati rice (150 calories), which can be used to make some steamed vegetables or a soup. A third large egg (210 calories) will fit in it. Having measured the volume to the top, I found it to be just over 600ml or about 21 ounces, which, if you think about it, is the equivalent of most It fits very well onto the heater, and when used over the burner the knob on top remains cool to the touch. If you place an aluminum spacer underneath the aluminum caldera, it can be used with an 8-inch Dutch oven, so you can double bake. The food can be brought straight from stove or oven to the kitchen table on a hot pad, but I recommend using a lexan spoon so you won't scratch As long as the temperatures are kept low, it does not stick when adequately oiled or buttered. With its convenience and functionality, it has become my "go to" pot in the kitchen. For those of us who wish to reduce our calorie intake, it is also beneficial to establish "portion control. " This is a great.

Here's what you get with a cracked pot The shipping box looked nice, but the pot was cracked from the top to the bottom
3/5

My experience might have been different if the pot was intact and functional, however these kinds of issues are pretty hard to overlook or give a pass as an isolated incident.
