The review is very detailed. My family is hearty eaters, so I cook for them. I include myself in this. The Lodge 4 Quart Dutch Oven is one of a number of products that I own, including a Lodge 5 Quart Dutch Oven, 3 Quart chicken fryer, 12 inches skillet, 10 inches skillet, Round Griddle and 10 inches Cast Iron is one of the appliances I use on a regular basis. In this Dutch oven, I made a giant beef and vegetable stew and it served four people with generous portions. My oven heated up to 325 degrees for two minutes and I roasted the chicken for two minutes. This was the best stew I had ever made. It took me five hours to make. Then continue reading Buying a Dutch oven in this size had to do with the fact that I was looking for something smaller that would work for roasts, cut up chicken, stews and soups etc. It is perfect for these types of foods. This is *br_*br_- Here is some information about four quarts versus five quarts. You might be wondering whether you should purchase the 5. 5 Quart or the 4 Quart size. To assist you I took a picture of the two side by side (picture 1). It is 9 Quart if you use the four quart symbol. The top is 5 inches wide and the bottom is 4 inches wide. The depth of the pool is 5 inches. There is a bit more space on the bottom of the 4 quart than the 5 quart.
Only a very small whole chicken or $2 to $3 pound roast fits comfortably in this pot.

It works well and is easier to clean. -- A surface is anything that is flat or curved, for example There is a bit of roughness to the surface of both the Logic and Pro Logic. In addition to being very slick, the old Lodge Cast Iron has a lot of dents and marks. In my opinion, the slightly rougher surface browns meat more evenly since I find that it is better for spreading out juices. This is *br_*br_- Ability that is not tied to the stick. In my experience, good usually sticks just a little bit after it has been enjoyed the first time. My experience with the Lodge Cast Iron pots, however, has been nothing short of delightful. The food slides right out of the pots and cleanup is This is *br_*br_- There are benefits to iron. There is a lot of information on the internet that cast iron cooking gives the food extra iron. This is a great way to provide the body with more iron. This is *br_*br_- I enjoy cooking with Lodge Cast Iron because the taste of the food is perfect. I find the use of such pots and pans to be much better than using regular ones. My recommendation for this 4 Quart Dutch Oven is a strong one. In case you are cooking for say four or more people, you might want to consider the larger Dutch oven. This is *br_*br_- Lodge preseasons the meat. But before using it, I cleaned and dried it, and I rubbed vegetable oil over it. Whenever I cook, I use either olive oil or vegetable oil. Once those steps have been completed, I lightly coat the item with a light coating of vegetable oil, after which it is stored. I always get a good bite of food this way, and it never sticks and is easily removed.

I have revolutionized how I make bread since I purchased this Dutch Oven. As a result, my husband and I look forward to the bread coming out of the oven each time I bake bread. As of this writing, I have never failed to bake a loaf. After making this bread, I can enjoy it as if I was still eating a fresh baguette from my Swiss hometown, where I spent 18 years living. My freshly baked bread tastes the same when it's toasted the next few days after it's baked. I can just eat it all the time now! I even like it when it's toasted the next day after it's baked! Having learned how to bake quality bread in this Dutch oven has been such a blessing to me. A four-quart size is the ideal size. I also highly recommend "Flour, water, salt, and yeast" by Ken Forkish, Etekcity electronic scale, and rattan proofing bowls (available on Amazon) as excellent tools for excellent bread making.

The cast iron seems to be a knock off, but I love cooking with it. I would not recommend buying this product. It was so difficult to wash out the first time it was used. The food stuck so badly. Among the things I tried were water, dish soap, scouring pads, and There was no solution other than throwing out the pot after trying pads, baking soda, and rubbing alcohol. Despite what it may appear to be, this is not authentic Lodge Cast Iron. It's the first time I've had Cast Iron cookware stick like this after using it for 40 years. You should look for a vendor that sells REAL Lodge Cast Iron rather than a fake. There is no way I will ever do business with this vendor That is the first time I have given a poor review to a piece of Cast Iron.

There is something so appealing about this Cast Iron pot. I have been looking for one of these for a long time. I cannot believe this piece of garbage is a pot! During the month of April, I received this pot via mail. After thinking about it for a while, I decided to give it a go. amazed at how excited I was! It's been a while since I used Cast Iron pots and pans Over a decade ago, pans were all over the place! Thus, I am familiar with the way they cook and how they are maintained. You can clearly see that it is "preseasoned" BS in this pot! Getting it clean was the first thing I did. Not a comet or brillo pad to be found. Using "Simple Dawn" and hot water is all you will need. We then rubbed a bit of canola oil into it and dried it thoroughly. I heated it for a couple of minutes and let it cool. Dinner was just around the corner, so I began I'm fairly satisfied with the food I prepared. As I slid the pot into the cupboard, I had an idea, "This will be my every-day pot!" After the wash I took it to the store. It was the same procedure as before. A few moments later, I noticed something as I took a paper towel to dry the surface before oiling it. There were orange spots on the lid. That color is not in any of the food I have prepared. To wash the lid, I went to the sink. My hand reached out for a paper towel just as I finished. As I started scrubbing the lid, the spots began to appear again. When I look at the paper towel, I can see orange coloring on it. When I look at the pot, I can see that it has started to rust as well. I immediately feel sick because I now know that it is rust. It's so strong that you can Please return this to me as soon as possible! There are a lot of these merchants who are scammers, as this goes to show. Despite the fact that cast iron does rust, it does not rust immediately after Several years ago, I bought a rusted pot for $75. It's not possible for this to be true. Despite the fact that there is no option to upload photos or videos, this won't work I am horrified at what she said. It was from this rusty pot that we ate.

Cookware that is durable and good quality. The battery should last for at least a thousand years. Although I did have to do some corrections on the exterior seasoning of the pot after rust spots started appearing on one side only As a result, we are facing a difficult season. However, it did not affect the Dutch oven's cooking capabilities in any way, and it was able to be re-used again Only one star was taken away for seasoning, as it is quite easy to do. It's crucial that I immediately re-read when I notice I've made a mistake There is no season any pre-season I was surprised that a cast iron item would require seasoning, even though it isn't supposed to. No, I do not scrub off the preservative Finish the dish with a seasoned finish, but add a good layer that is baked on top Afterwards, clean the original, let it dry, add some oil, bake it, let it cool, and go on from there. In the pre- Seasoned does not appear to mean completely sealed but rather is merely considered to be seasoned. I have only one major brand of cast iron cookware - Lodge and it is my preferred brand. I do have a few small, special-function pieces I purchase from other manufacturers, but I like to stick with Lodge, as I know it is a quality brand.
