In a single bathroom, there are two people on the same side. If you want to mount them next to each other, make a note of it. A single 2x4 on edge isn't quite enough spacing on one side. I set them 2 inches apart, leaving about 1/2" between the panes of glass. br>If you're looking for a soft-spoken voice, Replace the hinges with Liberty 840704 ($10), which are similar to the newer, more expensive Kohler cabinets. Replacements that fit perfectly are a nice touch. br>I took a star off because Kohler is so inexpensive with the $0. The shelves are held in place by 06 clips. They're flimsy, and Kohler only gives you what you need - There are no backups available. However, if you call and complain, you will be sent more.

This installation is simple to complete if you have or can borrow a circular saw and a nail cutter/file. When I first added this item to my cart, I was perplexed because it included a $165 assembly service. When the service contacted me, I inquired about the situation - Is this price inclusive of both installation and assembly? They stated that there would be no assembly. They could, however, install it for a fee. I decided to do everything myself, despite the fact that I am a woman (engineer). Although the item did arrive in a large box (and several weeks late), as another reviewer stated, it was already assembled! In my case, I was replacing a medicine cabinet that had the same width but was about 8" shorter in height than the one I was replacing. The circular saw was used to lengthen the dimensions of the recessed area. I also discovered a nail that I had to file off. There are two sets of instructions, but be aware that the differences between "surface" and "recessed" mounting are only indicated in tiny font in the corner. It was a cinch to put together, with only four screws required. There was no need for caulking or filler, as another reviewer claimed, and I included the second photo to demonstrate this. Anyway, I appreciate the extra space, and unlike another reviewer, I have no trouble keeping the magnifying mirror in place. I'm going to get a second one for my other bathroom!.

A standard 16" oc stud bay can be used. The construction is of high quality. One of the few options for people who are over 30" tall; Although it takes up more space than most (30" tall mirrors hide a very short cabinet), it still fits above a 36" countertop plus backsplash. The back of the mirror door, as well as the back of the cabinet, are both mirrored. It does not come with the side panel mirrors that are required for external installation, as others have pointed out. Three glass shelves are included in the package. It was installed in- wall; Fits easily inside a 16" oc stud bay, but the surround is only 15" wide, meaning there can't be any slop in the drywall cutting without exposing a gap on one side or the other. If your studs aren't quite plumb, the mirror door's three axis adjustments come in handy. It's worth noting that neither of our two units included a swing-out bed. out makeup mirror, which can be seen in a number of photos on- line, as well as in the instructions for installation. The provided screws are soft and easily stripped; however, the hex head is more effective than a phillips driver.

As part of a partial remodel, it was necessary to replace the built-in medicine cabinet. There were few options that would fit the dimensions of our wall opening, and many stores didn't have it in stock. This was listed as used on Amazon, in very good condition with some box damage. I decided to take a chance because it was listed for over $100 less than the normal price. The box has only one minor scuff and otherwise appears to be brand new. It is extremely well constructed. br>br> The only thing that irritates me are the small plastic shelf supports. Sliding the shelf into the small slots is difficult. Overall, I'm happy with this medicine cabinet, and I paid less for it than the standard model.

There are no stars deducted for appearance or functionality. Great design, modern, mirrored throughout, and plenty of space. The only thing that concerns me is the space between the front mirror and the door's metal flashing. That area has a gap on the side, and because the cabinet doesn't have a handle (which I like for the seamless look), small amounts of water from your hands can easily get behind the mirror. My mirrored door was corroded by water, and I now have three small water corroded spots on the side. That could have been easily fixed with some clear silicon filler, but it's too late for my cabinet because the water damage is now permanent. That does not make me happy.

It also chipped the tile on the floor, which was fantastic! The sliding mirror is held in place by a terrible system. I bought it for the mirror, but now I have a medicine cabinet that I don't use. I could have gotten it for a lot less if it hadn't had the concave mirror. It was just installed by the contractor, and it's too late to return it. Kohler, I owe you nothing.

There is a limited amount of space available. I've transformed my bathroom into a show-stopper! I purchased two KOHLER K- series vacuum cleaners. 99001- NA Verdera is a 15-year-old company that specializes in the production 30" x 30" Both doors open to a rectangular ROBBIN LED LIghted wall mount mirror with LED lighting all around it. I also added two 31/2" X 30" mirrors to each cabinet's side! It reflects the light from the side mirrors into the open cabinet doors, providing even more illumination. For such a small space, there are plenty of mirrors, storage, and light! )br>I'm overjoyed! ) Ted.

For a bathroom remodel, I purchased two and had them installed with one opening to the right and the other to the left. They appear to be fantastic! More importantly, it provides a useful amount of extra storage. The inner magnification mirror is ok; it's made of cheap plastic and has a strange slide adjustment that I'm still trying to figure out, but the mirrored interior and glass shelves are lovely.
