I am sorry, but I was unable to locate the paperwork that went On the inside, it is between 18 and 19 inches in diameter horizontally, and between 24 and 25 inches in diameter vertically. As well as mounting on a wall, you can also use surface mounting. This is the second one I purchased, and I'm completely satisfied with it.
I have it set over a dark brown cabinet and it looks very beautiful. As part of the cabinet, the top is made of a light marble, which helps to break up the dark. Mirrors like this one are very precious to us. There's a lot of room in it and it's very sturdy.
A recessed version of my door was installed , and it closes perfectly. When the door is closed, there is about a quarter of an inch of space. However, the reason for this is that it has no magnets, and it is the door hinges that hold the door shut, and the hinges lack the tension to keep it firmly against the cabinet. If you start messing with those hinges before you do any more work I would suggest calling Kohler first since they have quite a few adjustments on them, and if you adjust the wrong screw your whole door will be out of whack. It is possible that Home Depot sells a magnet that you can attach to the refrigerator. It wouldn't be a bad idea if that could be done to correct your issue. I wish you the best of luck.
While it says that you can surface mount this cabinet, it is more designed to be installed An acquaintance of mine installed it into the wall for me for $100 and helped me out a great deal. It would not be advisable to mount this cabinet on the surface. While there was some damage to the frame of my cabinet, it is barely noticeable because I filled it in with a marker. In the end, I chose to have it adhered to the wall rather than surface mounted and I am glad I invested $100 to hire a maintenance man. I can only tell you that I had it done because I hired it done. It may be possible for you to find someone who can assist at your local Home Depot.

The cabinet is beautiful and quite a nice size, but was so frustrating to surface mount that we spent the entire day trying to do so. A groove on the bottom support makes it difficult for the cabinet to fit into it. The counter that we put it over on the side made it a bit difficult to maneuver so we had to place it over there. I'm so glad I got that done! In order to mount the cabinet, we had to use clips, which as others have noted were not very sturdy. And I agree that the clips were too small to guarantee the cabinet would stay on the wall, but on our second attempt, my husband managed to make them I thought the installation video was pretty good if you were handy, which we weren't, but somehow in 3 people we all managed to hang it. The site is still up and running, so I hope it stays so. In trying to find that bottom groove, the wall was badly gouged, it would have been better if it was deeper and a little wider for ease of putting the cabinet on top. I hope it won't fall off the wall and that it will assist me in clearing my counter of clutter.
With Kohler you can expect nothing but the best from this medicine cabinet. My daughter and I purchased this medicine cabinet for a remodel of a small bathroom. You can choose from multiple options for installing the unit and it is built to last. By recessing the unit, I was able to preserve important In addition to mirrors on the interior surfaces, you might also want to add a few sconces. A bronze frame gives it a look that is much more expensive than it As the second Kohler mirror I have installed, I can recommend this unit as a nicely priced mid-range unit that comes with a variety of.
I can't understand the instructions! There has already been so much time spent trying to install this that it is absurd. My wood frame is not the same size as the wall cut out. I have a hole cut out and it doesn't specify how long the wood frame should be. It would be nice if the screw holes for installation into the wall were placed This is ridiculous. It could be just a matter of our drywall being too thick. As far as I know, the return period for this item is almost over, and I'm concerned I may waste my valuable time and money if I continue to try. In the near future, I will provide an update. I am updating A metal L shaped bracket provided the frame for the cabinet. I was able to install the cabinet by getting the brackets. In our household there is a lot of old wood, so trying to make a blocking with just screws didn't work. was able to fit it in the blocking and have it work. Although it looks good, I would prefer if the door could open a little wider. Despite the fact that it opens a little more than 90 degrees, there is still room to improve the open angle. As far as I need it right now, this will do.
The mirror of this device is not designed to be mounted on a surface. I.
1. The product is extremely heavy because it is so well constructed. Although it is sturdy, the support rail and clips that come with it are The tiny rail at the bottom and the two tiny clips at the top are not safe for mounting this mirror. There are only 20 inches between the mirror and rail, and the mirror is even shorter than the rail. That means that only one side of the rail can be nailed to the stud, and the other side must be secured with drywall anchors. I want you to think about that for a minute or two. 2.
There is a lot of thickness to this mirror. There are more than 6 inches of thickness on it. This mirror blocks pretty much all of the light from the light fixture, since there is a light fixture above it. There is a lot of darkness in the room due to this. 3
With my 48" sink, I thought that I would be able to install two of these side by side. However, due to #1, I am afraid that two of these could damage my drywall.
How did these clips come about? I cannot imagine who created them? I believe that the clamps don't provide adequate protection for the mirror. If you look at the pictures you can see that. A surface mount is not feasible due to the unit's weight. The fact that it can be secured to drywall to stud does not feel safe to me. will not be able to fit everything into my 120-year-old house. It was a bit difficult to cut the bar in half to mount it on studs, but overall I do not think the unit is surface mountable with the hardware included. It is important to me that my family is safe. I am making a return with this purchase.
The master bath has a large window and I ordered two of them. Despite the fact that they were a bit out of my budget, I found these cabinets to be of high quality and well made. A spacious cabinet is also elegantly designed and well-crafted, with a sufficient depth by which it can serve as a storage cabinet. An art form. It can hold anything inside (yes! The three glass shelves are adjustable so you can put them wherever you want them to be depending on what you have to put inside. It was my mom who advised me to make sure the cabinet depths were deep enough. The presence of this feature proves to be of great importance. The cabinet should only be used if you intend to store items inside of it! My search led me to Kohler, and not some cheaper knockoff It was worth it for me to pay a little more and choose them over the off brands. This is a deep-pocketed basket that holds a great deal of items. The quality of materials and finish are In addition to the front of the cabinet and on its inside, I particularly like the mirrors that are behind the shelves and on the inside of the door. Mirrors of all shapes and sizes offer a generous amount of light and functionality. If, for example, you apply face creams with no need to close the door to view the mirror, the door can be opened without the need to close it. Although I had never considered it before, I have become partial to this feature now that I have had these cabinets. The ability to choose the direction in which the doors open was also a major benefit. These cabinets can be customized to fit your particular needs and preferences, so they are very user-friendly. There seem to be side mirrors (which look like a mirror box) so they can be mounted outside the house. The cabinets, however, are embedded in the wall, so that it looks more like a framed mirror that lies flat against I guess this kind of mounting, which I guess is not common, makes the silver edges of the inside cabinet stand out This is standard. The look of metal). To be honest, I find it to be somewhat annoying, but not enough to go for the outside mounting, which would clutter Bronze details appear gleaming on a black background, not like cheap paint. The frame's bronze finish is authentic and appears bronzed on a black surface, not like some cheap overlay. A rubbed bronze or antique decor will work very well with it. In my case, I wanted something that would last, so I am very happy to report that I am very satisfied with these cabinets, and I would recommend them to anyone else who has the same requirements.
