Does the bowl need to be deeper to allow a clean shield to cover it?

That is exactly what I think! As a way of extending the shield deeper into the bowl, I plan to attach some kind of flexible plastic strip. The splash-screen would be fixed for us if we did that This is one of the problems we have with an otherwise terrific product The seat is sturdy and well made.

I am not sure what the opening of the round toilet seat is like. What do you think about this?

There is an elongated seat for me and there is also a tray table I think it fits an elongated toilet well, but may be a bit smaller than the seat that came with the toilet. Because of how the seat is built, it might be a bit smaller than the seat that came with it. Due to the size of the round toilet, one would expect the seat to be smaller than one typically used on a standard toilet.

If I had the opportunity, I would have given this more than five stars! I was pleased to learn that my husband is disabled and has long legs, and had been using an ugly plastic commode for a long time. It provided the needed height, but the seat and bowl were 6" apart - not a good situation. The issues that arise from that are easily imaginable. I hate it. In order to solve the problem, we looked for an attractive, dignified, sturdy, and SANITARY solution. We were so frustrated with the ugly risers and the fact that they could not be cleaned without unbolting the hardware, etc. We only learned about BEMIS after reading all the wonderful What sealed the deal was the one from the occupational therapist that focused on seat/arm safety. After buying the BEMIS, I installed it myself (follow the instructions to the letter and you'll have it ready). I love it when my husband sees it - he adores it The construction is super solid, no spills, and the cushions are very comfortable. I love how easy it is The design is also very pleasing to me. Unfortunately, the seating was still too low for most people. Following that, we purchased the Toilevator (also found on Amazon) and had a plumber install it. There you go! Take a look at the final results when you combine Now that there is a 7" increase in height, sitting down and standing up is so much simpler. Very satisfied with the service. A piece of junk that I had to attach to my existing toilet seat finally won me over after several looks. I spent almost fifty dollars to fix it, which broke within two weeks. There were three lists of bests that listed this #1 on three of them. The book would never have turned up on Amazon had I not found it elsewhere first. It is very important for you to watch the videos on Amazon's website to learn why this will transform your toilet into a fully ADA-compliant one. An existing hole for the standard seat is used for installing the Despite its large weight capacity, this seat is stable and actually feels more secure than the Bemis seat it replaced. It holds 1000 pounds, which is a significant amount, and it's easy to install. There is a comfort height toilet in my home made by American Standard. There was a slight increase in height from the 40-year-old toilet it replaced, but not enough to make my knees hurt. As we installed the new seat yesterday, it was so similar to the original that I didn't realize it was a different one. It was my fault for being late and not My jaw was dropped this morning when I saw it. In a very natural way, it felt like that. It is a Bemis Independence that you will not regret buying.

I had no idea this toilet seat would be perfect for my in-laws It's the law. In our Az house we have high-rise toilets, so we thought that would be sufficient for my in-laws to use when they came to visit. However, we needed more height and a place to push off to get up A toilet seat such as this one fits the bill. There is a great deal of security in this system. I was able to install it perfectly in my bathroom. It can be installed very easily. It just takes a minute to replace the old toilet seat with this one. When the bolts are tight, the bolts snap off and you never have to worry about the bolts loosening up again. Bemis makes special bolts for their products and there is a special tool for tightening them. The seat is covered by a lifetime warranty. That's an excellent piece of work. only part of toilet cleaning I don't like is the actual cleaning of my In the space under the riser of the new seat and the rim of the toilet, there is a gap. There is a lot of space between these two points and I have to clean that space quite frequently. This is a toilet that is used by people who are in their early 90's, so I'm not sure if it's their problem or Bemis'. Due to my space being compact, I find it difficult to reach. However, other people may not have an issue with it. This is a very solid product with excellent quality. Avoid spending too little money on a cheaper solution. Invest in a toilet security system to give you peace of mind that your loved ones will be safe.

The installation process is straightforward. There is still the possibility that urine can leak from between the seat and the toilet bowl in certain situations. After discovering this by trial and error, I realized that, even with a seat that catches all urine, it may not always direct urine effectively. I was disappointed because that was the primary reason for purchasing the product. I may be the only one with this problem.

After her knee healed enough for her to use the standard seat, my daughter removed the raised seat she purchased a couple of weeks ago. It was too high and uncomfortable for her, so I removed it. I need to buy a raised seat for my wife who is going to have surgery on the other knee, so I researched and chose the Bemis brand. I ordered the hand rails with it as well. It was easy for me to install, even at the age of 81. My balance disorder and height make it easy for me to lower myself without plopping down.
