No, it was a hard plastic unit, but it was well-made and simple to install with some mechanical knowledge. Very pleased with the purchase and functionality; instead of using bulky risers, it raises the unit from the bottom up.
This is the first time I've heard of this toilet. We have a tall, elongated toilet that works perfectly for us. It's never caused us any issues. It makes my husband's exit from the toilet a breeze. It's been over a year since we got it and we're very happy with it. It is something I would recommend to anyone.
