A toilet riser adds three inches to your height. 1/2"
The riser seat is equipped with extra-long bolts that pass through the riser seat, the regular seat, and the backrest. lid. There are two wing nuts for the bottom, which come with two plastic washers that are too large to fit in the square covers that hide the bolts, so you'll need to purchase two smaller metal washers, which isn't a big deal. Both sides of the riser have a cut out to allow it to be raised for cleaning. It's less expensive and easier to install than a new right-height toilet, and it's 2" higher.
No, the screws were excessively large. I looked for alternatives on the internet and in hardware stores, but had no luck. When I contacted Vive, they informed me that there were no other screws available. My elongated Kohler had smaller wholes that couldn't accommodate the screw's wide circumference.
Yes, that is how it works. The handles could be a little bigger, but that could be due to the limited space on either side of the toilet. Because of the limited space, it's a little difficult to reach the tissue. It was put in by our maintenance crew.

WARNING: THIS PRODUCT IS DANGEROUS! br>Because it easily slides from left to right, this seat is dangerous to use. br>It has a soft plastic exterior that acts as a frictionless slider against the porcelain toilet beneath it. Because it's hollow, it flexes and compresses as it tightens, preventing a tight, immovable fit. br>I bought this for my boyfriend to use after an upcoming surgery, but after installation, we discovered that if one sits or stands with one hand on the seat for support, the unit will slide in the opposite direction. He is in good physical condition and will be able to use it, but someone with less strength or balance could slide, fall, and sustain serious injury. This product should be removed from the market. br>.
They must be Hubble's original workers' rejects. You are aware of the situation. Half of the crew is working with American Standard measurements, while the other half is working with metric measurements. the final product THE HINGE BETWEEN THE TWO HANDLES DOESN'T FIT. NO WAY, NO HOW, NO WAY, NO WAY, NO WAY, NO After buying a hinged riser from NOVA, I tossed it in the trash. The NOVA was in perfect condition, with all of the hinged parts in place! This VIVE product was completely useless.
You couldn't put the two pieces together because they weren't put together properly. Suggested that I contact the company and watch a YouTube video. I did. It was still not going to work. After that, I was instructed to stand on it and push. I returned it to you. This was inconvenient for me because I am disabled.
Both the Vive and the Nova 3 were purchased by me. The toilet seat riser is 5 inches tall and hinged. br>The Vive is the best! It contains a greater number of non-alcoholic beverages. br> It has larger bolt channels in the back for adjusting the position of the riser on the toilet, allowing you to get it as close to the front edge as possible, and it's very secure and difficult to slide back- and so on after they've been installed. It also opens (lifts) and closes with less effort. br> br>The Nova only has two nonslip pads, and it isn't very secure after installation because the bolt channels prevent you from putting the riser to the front edge of the bowl, leaving a visible toilet edge sticking out all the way around. br>(The only issue we had with installation was that the bolt holes in our existing toilet seat were too small, so we had to drill larger holes. ) The bolts are 3/8" in diameter, but we needed a slightly larger hole, so we used a 5/16" bit. However, a 3/8" bit could be used, though it would be a little tight. )br>The Vive's only possible flaw is that the color does not quite match the toilet. The Nova was a better match for the toilet because of its color.
It gives me a lot of relief on my knees when I'm using the toilet, and it's a lot less expensive than buying a new, tall toilet. Installing it is simple enough, but tightening it to a firm no-slip grip is more difficult. It is necessary to use it with caution.
The bottom of the bowl is protected from sliding around by thin rubber strips that contact the bowl rim. We have a Glacier Bay Elongated Bowl Toilet, and it fits the elongated bowl perfectly, and it's just as big as most, so the bowl isn't restricted like most. Our seat is a Bemis model that is made of wood and has a quick-release mechanism. Others have stated that the quick release type could not be mounted on this. They are partially correct, but you can install the quick release bolts into those holes by picking up a couple barrel nuts and driving them down the holes in the unit. Then work your way up from the bottom using the provided bolts and wing nuts. If you're handy, it's a breeze to put together. In every way, this is an outstanding product! I like how it can be cleaned by tilting it up! (I'd prefer it to be white, but the cream color blends in well with our white toilet and seat. ) If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is the place to be. With the provided bolts running down through the seat and lift, installation is made even easier.
The customer flyer's phone number connected me with a woman who demanded that I send photos of my toilet. After that, I was told they'd have to check with someone else in the company to see if there was a solution. Then I got an email saying they didn't have any bolts to fix the issue. br> I had waited until a few days before my surgery to install the toilet so that everyone in the house would be less affected, if you catch my drift. As a result, as stated by the company. I am not within the 30 day window (though less than 2 months though)
As a result, I finally received a message from the company that they have no bolts br> I believe that newer toilets will have a problem. The toilet in the photo above is a 7-year-old Home Depot mid-price model. old. It's possible that this riser will work with old toilets. br> However, in my opinion, this company should be flushed because it does not stand behind its products. It cloaks itself in Amazon's 30-day return policy.
This was a gift for my grandmother, and she absolutely adores it. The riser was already assembled, so installation was quick and easy. It adds enough height to make sitting and standing easier, and the extra couple of inches with the toilet seat on top makes it even easier. I wouldn't recommend using it without a toilet seat because it was uncomfortable for me. After the wingnuts are tightened, the riser is stable and does not move around on the bowl. the non- Slip pads on the bottom help with stability as well. Cleaning under the riser and the top of the toilet bowl is a breeze thanks to the hinged feature. br>br>The only issue I had was that the bolt heads were a little too rounded, which made closing the quick-release impossible. My toilet seat's tabs should be released. The toilet seat tabs could now fully close over the bolts after I shaved down the heads of the bolts with a file to make them flatter and thinner. Depending on the type of toilet seat in use, this may not be an issue for others. br>br>I also wish there was a more substantial barrier in front to divert urine down into the bowl and prevent it from seeping through the seam between the bottom of the riser and the top of the bowl. If the target is not pointed straight down, this has happened a few times. br>br>Overall, I'm happy with it, and the person who will be using it the most has no complaints, so it was a good buy.
