I made sure I requested the natural wood version in the notes to the seller since I read people were receiving it. Nonetheless, I decided before receiving that one that I wouldn't panic. It was just my preference to receive the natural dyed version rather than the lighter. I am definitely happy with my purchase.

It would never have occurred to me that a toilet stool would be the life-changer it has been for me. As I mentioned earlier, I bought a knock-off of the real deal. To date, there has been no easy way to store the leg platforms after they have been used. The shower was a nightmare for me because I constantly tripped over them. When not in use, this toilet stool from Strong Tek can be folded up and put away out of sight. That was the solution to the problem! I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of construction of this stool. This is top-notch! There is no damage to the item since it arrives in a box. The moment you remove it from its packaging, you will immediately be impressed with the quality of the product. The legs make a slight clicking sound when the feet are correctly expanded in place, and the hinges appear to be solid and durable. To avoid slipping when you rest your feet upon the stool, it has a grooved surface across the top. You can put your legs on the stool so that they are at a height that allows you to squat. If you want to store this stool out of sight when not in use, you pull your fingers under its hinges, press the lever, and it collapses upon itself. I cannot stress enough the importance of doing this not just for safety reasons but also to avoid blatantly advertising As of the time of this review, the Strong Tek stool is about $7 less than the comparable offering from a name brand. I would recommend saving a little money by using this With this product, you have the ability to save money while getting a great product.
that wood, or is it a fake? The edge of the box around the stool is covered with a veneer, so it's difficult to check whether it's true that it is wood after bad experiences with things being false. I tend to be skeptical of things claiming to be wood after bad experiences with things being something else. That edge caused me to suspect that the stool was not real wood since it was covering something up. As far as the grain is concerned, it looks fake, and all of the wood has an edge (rather than a visible layer of wood). In my search, I pried loose a seam along the edge to check if it was stable. I was able to super glue the cover back on after my tampon got damaged (I don't recommend doing this, but it didn't cause too much damage on mine). In this case, plywood was used because under the veneer were unstained wood plies, which indicate its construction. Although there is some black veneer on the outside, and there is definitely veneer on the edging, the interior is composite. confirm this for sure. My observations are the only basis for it. I feel like the piece of furniture is solid. Having a lighter option would have been better for me. Black is a unique color because it stands out (against a white toilet) so much so that it calls attention to itself -- but it also makes it a bit difficult to see under certain lighting conditions. The odd thing about it is that, while it's conspicuous, it's also hard to grasp at the same time. (This is extremely difficult )I haven't really noticed any benefit to it with regards to what it's supposed to do. According to my research, this varies from person to person (and isn't a flaw of the product itself), so I'm not sure how fair it would be to base my review on this. In this sense, it is of great quality, and would be a very nice upgrade for anyone who is used to a plastic one and wants something a bit more sturdy and stylish.
However, this toilet stool is quite wide and sticks out quite a ways in front of the commode while remaining extremely sturdy. In a limited amount of space, especially if there isn't much space in front of the toilet, it's hard to leave it in place. To be stored standing up when folded up, it requires a space of about three inches. In terms of project design and construction quality It is clear that this has been thought out a lot. In fact, the hinges are very strong and the mechanism is very reliable. It arrived scratched and with veneer finish that is a bit iffy and plastic on the top that is not attached to the structure of the stool. In the end, if you are looking at function over looks, this product is stable, has rubber feet to prevent it from sliding, and does exactly what it is meant In comparison to the much lighter plastic versions that do not fold, this is easier to store.
