As well as being a step stool for the bathroom, it needed to be durable since it serves both as a step stool for us and the kids. In looking at various wood options, I noticed that while I prefer the look of all wood stools, they did not have the best reviews when it comes to being used as a step stool with full weight. The product is heavy duty, and it will support my weight (100lbs) without a problem, and I feel more than comfortable letting my children use it as well. As well as being able to fold it up, I love that it is out of the way when not in use. A lot better than the squatty potty brand we used to have, it nestles well under the toilet. I would definitely recommend and order from this seller.
