Moen LR2356DCH Home Care 16-Inch Screw-in Curved Bath Safety Grab Bar with Built-in Shelf, Chrome

I installed this bar in two of our bathrooms, both of which have ceramic or porcelain floors. There seems to be a lot of strength there. So I screwed them into solid wood studs rather than the hollow wall anchor that came with the shelf (I didn't use the ones that came with it). Two of the shelf grab bars have been in use for over a year, and they are still as solid as they were when they were installed. Perhaps the strongest selling point that the shelf includes a grab bar is the shelf with a grab bar. The bar we have is very secure and is able to handle shampoo and conditioner and a large pump bottle of Dove shower soap along with four very large bottles.

Rather than a shelf, we can get my mother a grab bar. Based on the enclosed template, I drafted the following The error occurred. Would have been better if I had checked first. A small problem with the holes led to their being drilled twice. Despite making it work, I want to eat my pride for thinking the template would be perfect. Also, the right cover won't snap into place. It would be helpful to find someone with stronger hands than me to determine if the problem is strength-related. Fearing that the cover would be dented, I wasn't going to smack it with a hammer.

I like how the grab bar and shelf look. If you are looking for a grab bar that offers secure attachment, pass on this one unless you don't mind the unfinished mounting area showing. It is required to locate the studs during installation, so you can choose not to use them onsite. What are the odds of that happening? I could have added decorative cover pieces to the product so it could be attached to the feet. If I had made an adjustment in the manufacturing, this could have been done. There are instructions that state you have to drill a large hole through the shower wall without using the studs. It's insane. MOEN, you need to get your act together! Currently, it is in the box going back to the manufacturer.

This has been in use for a couple of weeks and I Having a grab perfect for use while showering and a soap dish that can hold a couple of soaps is also very helpful. As the tray holds the soaps, it tilts towards the back so that water will drain out during the shower. It can also be easily cleaned, so it is easy to keep clean.

This is a Moen soap tray and grab bar, I really like it. The design and concept are great, but there are a few things I missed in my first review, here is why I am revising it. of all, the chrome plating is very thin and actually has a yellow tint from the brass underneath. After having it installed in my shower along with the other chrome pieces, I was not immediately aware of it. In addition to the second thing, there are a couple of minor things In the fixture, the tray does not have drainage, which means bath water from your shower is left sitting in the tray. For this fix, I punched three small holes into the tray to allow drainage of the water. Apart from what I mentioned, it is a quality shower accessory, and I feel safer now that I have.

The tub has just been installed in our shower as part of a remodel to make it more handicap friendly for me as I am disabled with Multiple Sclerosis. The bag conveniently holds all of my shower items, and it is large enough to hold a pump plus several large items Shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. are all available in a variety of bottles. I have two large bottles, a squeeze bottle, a bath puff, two brushes, and two spray bottles. I am able to grip it with no problem thanks to that combination. Due to the weight of three full bottles, it was difficult to hold. One was removed. My friend showed me this product on Pinterest and I found it on Amazon. The only thing I had to adjust for was that it is farther out from the wall than a standard There is a shower bench that I moved a little farther from the wall, but I am still forced to stick my arm up higher when I wash my hair, but I admit that the shower area is relatively small. As long as I don't have to reach for my items, I prefer it. As long as I spray it out with my hand-held shower head, it's easy to clean.

There are several problems with this item, one of which is does not appear to be sufficiently secure for use As soon as it is pulled or pressed on strongly, it "gives" and one of mine eventually came off. Having to buy a real grab bar allowed me to safely use the stairs. Another reviewer notated that the chrome has a yellowish tint, rather than the silvery blue found in (2) I initially had two of these installed, and (as another reviewer pointed out) my contractor was unable to snap on the second piece of trim (the ring covering the screws, etc. ) on both. I think it's a good idea, but it wasn't well Moen's products are usually of superior quality, and I am disappointed with the quality of their products this time.
