Here's a piece of advice that might be useful. I should have paid attention to the other reviewers who pointed out that the screw holes on this item are misaligned, making assembly difficult. I was able to attach the top after struggling for an absurd amount of time to get one of the screws that attach the top to align. I discovered that if I started screwing in all of the screws that attach the top BEFORE I pushed the knobs onto the legs into the slots on the top (so that I could still see the screw holes while inserting the screws), I could attach the top.
This seat is very sturdy and of good quality, and it matches my newly remodeled master bath perfectly. br>After reading a few reviews that this can be difficult to put together properly, I decided to buy it fully assembled. I believe it was money well spent. It arrived in perfect condition, with no flaws or damage, and was as easy to install as pulling it out of the box. br>I would recommend this to anyone looking for a high-quality, well-written novel. At a great price, you can get a nice teak seat.
This is a high-quality product from Indonesia, as indicated on the box. This company has no problems with quality control. I work in the bathroom remodeling industry, and this is the fourth bench I've bought for customers. br>All of the joints are in place and working properly. It's a breeze to put together - just follow the instructions. 8 bolts. It even comes with an Allen key. They connected the two ends with two color dots (small stickers). There are no instructions included. You are not in need of them. br>The wood has a nice color and is well milled. br>Pick up some Teak Oil - it's worth it. Especially if this bench is used every day in the shower. br>My most recent client is older and saved a lot of money by buying an "aluminum Adjustable Shower Seat. " She had the two benches next to each other as soon as she could = Teak - It looked, felt, and was MUCH more stable.
It was no longer acceptable for me to shave my legs while sitting on the shower floor. lol. So, shortly after we moved in, I ordered this, and it's been one of the best purchases I've made for the apartment! It was incredibly simple to put together, and the overall quality of the product far surpassed my expectations. It looks lovely in our cramped quarters and has held up remarkably well. I do treat it with teak oil, which is sold separately by the same company, on occasion, but it doesn't take long and I've only done it once or twice in the last 5 or 6 months. br>I've noticed in some product photos that the stools are sometimes kept outside of the shower/bath, but ours is kept inside, just against the wall opposite the shower head. It still gets wet, but if it's particularly soaked for whatever reason, I try to wipe it down with a dry washcloth. br>I keep a lot of bath products on the shelf, but I've learned the hard way that the bar soaps I use should be placed on a small plate or something. The only flaw on the stool is that I left a bar of soap on top of it, which caused it to discolor slightly. br>Overall, the product is quite lovely and, in my opinion, well worth the money!.
Standing for too long is painful for me because I have peripheral neuropathy. Because of this, as well as balance and coordination issues and vertigo, I require the use of a shower bench. This one caught my eye as I looked around. sturdy, attractive, and comfortable, and the shelf allows me to store a bucket (which is also solid wood!). ) of my soaps, shampoos, razors, and other personal care products. I was adamant about not getting a medical bench, but I knew I needed one. This was a brilliant idea. Now I'm on the lookout for a second one for my second master bath.
After returning a flimsy medical bench that arrived with broken parts, we decided to buy this lovely teak bench. This bench will be ideal for our walk-in closet. while in the shower It came in good condition, complete with a small wrench and ten long screws. My husband put it together in less than 20 minutes, despite the fact that one of his hands was broken. Each leg of the bench is fitted with leveling pads. There are no rough spots or slivers on the wood's surface because it has been sanded completely smooth. The horizontal rather than vertical placement of the slats was particularly appealing to us. The bench's overall strength is enhanced by the addition of the shelf. The seat length is ideal at 24", the height is 18", and unlike the medical bench, it is not adjustable, but this wood bench is much more sturdy and solid. The teak bench is twice the price of the medical bench, but it has so many uses and will last for decades after the flimsy medical bench has been discarded. This lovely bench comes highly recommended by us.
This has been bothering me for a few months. It's in our walk-in shower, out of the way of the shower head's direct spray, but it does get wet during showers. After assembly, I applied three or four coats of Penofin Marine Oil to help maintain the new finish's appearance and prevent water absorption. Despite having a fairly high-quality outdoor finish, it still absorbs water and is likely to stain if not sprayed or wiped clean after each use. Also, you must clean it at least once every few weeks, or mold will begin to grow in the crevices and beneath the surface. It's probably not uncommon for natural wood furniture to be stored in a shower! I would definitely buy from them again.
This shower bench is of exceptional quality. We bought it fully assembled after reading that some of the pieces were difficult to line up. It's extremely relaxing and stable. Because we have a large tiled walk-in shower, the adjustable tabs in the bottoms of the legs are ideal. In order for the water to flow properly to the drain, the shower must be slightly sloped to the center. It's a beautifully crafted piece, both in terms of design and appearance. It's just the right height, not too low to make getting up and down a breeze. I believe you will enjoy it as much as I did.
