Questions & Answers
Ours was done by our builder, who had to locate a stud on one end. Then, for the rest, I used lag screws. This will aid in the anchoring of the boat for safety reasons. I hope this information is useful;
They're 10 x 2 inches, I believe. It was necessary for me to travel to 3in. Part of my application is screwed together. I also applied caulk to all of the screws. Is it likely that you'll require a stud finder?
Yes. Mine are in my shower and are mounted on the wall. My contractors, on the other hand, secured them. All I can say is that they're secured to the stud in the wall and that we've replaced the tiles.
For stud-mounting, stainless steel screws (6 per bar) are included. mount. If you're going to mount the bars on a tile wall, you'll need to get some tile wall anchors. br>Many thanks for your help with AmeriLuck!

Our elderly relatives will benefit from grab bars. They appear to be neat and tidy. Because of the tile surrounds in the baths, I had them installed by a professional. Instead of using the included screws, anchors with larger screws were used.
Because grab bars come in such a wide range of prices, I was pleased when these arrived and appeared to be well constructed. Simply pre-drill the screw holes and ensure that at least one side is securely anchored to a stud in the wall. If you just use the supplied screws to go into the drywall, don't expect it to last.
I was very disappointed that each grab bar came in six pieces rather than two, which should have included the grab and a piece to cover the fastening screws. Furthermore, the collar that goes over the two halves of the grab bar does not fit, and I will have to force it into place, which may cause damage. It isn't something I would purchase again. It is preferable to spend more money on a one-piece grab bar.
Their sturdy, wide grip was easy to install with the long screws provided, and they did exactly what I needed to get in and out of the shower. br> For the quality, it's a very good price.
They were simple to install once the studs were located, and they hold up well now that we are older. I had hoped to never need them, but we do now.
Arthritis made it difficult for me to get out of the tub. This seemed very dangerous, as if I fell, it could be disastrous. I feel a lot safer now that I have the bars.
Mounting is a breeze.
We have two showers in our house, and we added one to each of them because they already had smaller bars. However, there was a spot in each shower where you needed something to hold on to, and these long bars were perfect. Also, the bar's diameter is very comfortable to grip, which is crucial for us seniors.
