However, I didn't even get a chance to complete one full cookie design before writing stopped. As their skinny side is comparatively thin and therefore not as effective as the thin side, it never seemed to work right. It is as if it is dried out from the start but yet it is leaking. There are a couple of times you have to shake the large side in order for it to work, however it does write in a sense but it doesn't completely write without shaking a few times. Despite my best attempts, I was never able to get a fully traced cookie.
I've edited it I returned the pen to the seller after trying it once before and bought it again (against my better judgment). My infamous review has been updated to 3 stars, kids, because the second pen is a dream come true so far. Come on, let's get going! It literally fell apart as I was pulling off the lid, letting the inside marker fall out straight onto the cookie and ruining my set. I am in the middle of a set when it happened. I am so frustrated!.

On my Etsy shop, I make little details mostly in black, for a lot of the equipment I use. That is awesome! If you're feeling particularly creative, you can write directly on fresh fondant. The result on dried fondant is, of course, more vibrant, but this is the real deal. When used or cleaned regularly, the tips of these markers will not soften. You can get intense color every time. If you have ever tried to draw tiny eyelashes or pinpoint dots, you will love this pen. It's been almost 4 months since I ordered two markers to have a backup, but the first one is still operating after almost 4 months. However, I do clean mine with a damp clean cloth every time I use it because I'm a bit OC. Any other marker would be a waste of time for me. They should first distribute to the USA so that shipping takes a fraction of the time it takes in Europe. But, trust me, the wait will be worth it.
I needed a fine tip for this edible marker, so it isn't a cheap product. It was a pleasure to receive the pens as I needed them for an order I placed. It would not ink the fine tip side of the pen, only the other side. I soaked it in ink all night, storing the pen upside down with the fine tip side down, but the "ink" would not flow down. When I tried to return it for a replacement, it said it could not be returned! The device is defective, and can be used only on one side, on the side I really don't It makes me kinda pissed off. Upon ordering another one, I will be unable to return that one as well if it is defective.
Despite my initial praise for this edible marker, I am sorry to say that my next attempt was a bust. I found it nearly impossible to remove the cap from the fine tip side of the pen, and when I eventually removed it, the entire cartridge of food coloring came out I never managed to put it back together again. One of the pens just came in, and I found a crack in the barrel of it. There is no way I will order another one once this one leaks all over my hand. This is unfortunate, because the fine point side can be a great way to add details to cookies when it works well.
have been looking forward to getting this fine tip pen for so long. I was surprised to find out that the fine tip was dried out completely when I received it. Wetting the tip didn't work, so I tried moistening it instead. In the approval email I received, it said they would take it back, but I would have to pay for shipping. Instead, I got a replacement and the approval email said they would take it back. I am very disappointed.
I am still using the product right now and it is still functional. Although it is certainly poorly constructed, it is still quite attractive. You may get food coloring on your hand a couple of times just trying to open the pen. The whole pen falls apart when you try to pull off the top.
