I'd love to have some if you'll leave some for me. LOL ) just kidding. The answer is yes, a drop or so would be fine. However, you should make sure not to use too much as to not affect the consistency of the meringue/macaroon.

To color whipped cream using the paste is sure to be successful. However, there is one thing to note Whipping cream is not as stable as, say, frosting, so if you make it too early it may bleed into other areas.

I use only one brand of food coloring. Having been a baker for a long time, I love this brand. Lots of vibrant colors can be achieved with only a few drops. No change in taste occurs as a result of the gel. In the beginning, I bought the student kits and have found the product to be good, so my favorite colors now come in larger bottles. I highly recommend this product, although it is a little expensive.
