Given that I know nothing about Packit and since I don't have any experience using this item, I plan to respond to you as I did when someone asked about the use of a thermos with an ice pack in a lunch box In my opinion, if your cooler is designed to cool food, it would function as it is meant to. It is possible that your food could stay warm for a while, if it stays for just a short period in that icebox. Otherwise, I should assume that the Packit will When the food is sitting in a thermos for hours, it won't be piping hot like it would be in a regular lunch box. I would love to hear what you think if you give it a go. I wish you the best of I think this would be a good science project for middle school students.

In both cases, the capacity is the same. The Foogo is molded in an hourglass shape, easier to hold, wider by about 3/8", the top and bottom feel like hard rubber and give the air a little slip resistance, the top has a thicker seal, and the inside is made of The empty weight of this item is I would say the Funtainer is a better built product. The top and bottom feel like hard plastic, the top is thinner and the gasket is half the thickness. The inside has two welds visible that are not difficult to clean, but show how well built this product is. The empty weight of 237 grams indicates a quality that is less than expected. To the value of I would not buy the Funtainer again based on the 2 dollar difference in price. The Disney characters were the only reason I bought it. To show difference, I would like to post side by side photos, however I am not sure how or whether you can do this.

There is not much to like about the brand 'Thermos'. My lunch was that pretty pink thermos with the and it was just the right size. I put my heated food in it when I made my lunch, and two hours later my lunch By purchasing this product, you will be wasting your money if your intention is to keep your food hot. Initially, I did not want to rate it at all, but it was impossible for me to post it without rating it.
That's what we love about My initial test was to see how long it would keep food warm so I filled it with boiling water, took the temperature, and put a lid on it, leaving it on the counter for four hours. After four hours, it had dropped to 135 F, which I was pleased with. The food is still hot enough to eat! As I've had these for a while, I've realized there are many different types of food you can make with them! The following examples are provided Please note Br>- It's spaghetti - I love it when Mac and cheese is on the menu-- I made potatoes with butter and salt and pepper
- It is a rice and bean meal. *Soup* - *Frozen corn dogs (of the miniature variety) The best chicken nuggets ever - I'm eating a French toast stick - I am eating scrambled eggs. You can do so much There are really no limits to what you can do! During the preparation of the food, I fill the thermos with hot water to make the heat last for as long as possible. If the water is boiled before pouring in, you could do that, but I have found that just running plain hot water from the Keurig into it will be faster and your coffee will work just as well! Then I remove the water from the food, put it in the water container, cap it tightly, and put it in In order to prevent the food from becoming soggy, I drain the water out of the thermos, dry with a paper towel, and put a new, dry paper towel in the bottom of the thermos before putting the food in to absorb any Despite the fact that we have only used these thermoses for a few months now, I have had zero issues with either, and would buy them again in a heartbeat!.
It has been used for lunch as well as for soups, alfredo chicken, and mac and cheese. So far, there's been no leakage. followed the directions correctly so that the food would stay warm, and I would recommend following them as well. After filling it up with hot water (or boiling water), I let it soak for 10 minutes Keeping the lid on for 20 minutes is recommended. I drain it and dry it with a paper towel before I put the warmed food in it, so she has had warm The next day "four hours later"). Hand washing only, as stated in the instructions, is my practice. It is certainly easier to put your dishes in the dishwasher, but I do not She has been able to prevent spills from her lunchbox due to the plastic/rubber ring inside the lid.
I think this product is wonderful. Since I had already bought another, I thought it would be okay to buy a used one. Over the last few weeks, I've purchased a lot of products in the "new & improved" This option has been used. I'm doing fine. A word of caution beware! Purchased by the previous owner cleverly, it was heavily used by the There is a possibility that some of these "used" items are likely to be returned due to being unused. It was also supposed to be light wear, etc. Imperfections on the surface of the skin. The outside of the thing was scuffed up, the inside of it was covered with dirty dishwater residue, there were dark mold-like spots on the inside of the top, and there was oil sitting in the ring of the top. That was gross. There is a replacement at Amazon. This is just a personal experience I would like to share. Lastly, whoever thought they could get away with selling this back to Amazon, you've got foul play.
This item was primarily purchased for a kindergarten student's lunch at school, and I planned to keep chicken nuggets warm. Following the directions failed to produce the desired results (Boiling hot water and placing it in the container with the lid on for 10 minutes before It was ICE COLD four hours later. re-tried it one more time to make sure that it's not working. As I wanted to test it out at home first, I did not even place it in a lunch box. I'm so This will be returned to you.
It is always best to warm up a container with water before putting solids in it. As soon as 6 pm rolls around, I pack her food It was very warm at 30am, and it remained that way through noon. It is in perfect condition after being washed in the dishwasher.
The best! I'm in love with Despite the size of this container, my daughter has been able to eat mac n cheese, chicken nuggets, and soup for lunch, and the food is It takes between 7 and 10 minutes for the food to get into the container Despite being soaked in water at 8 p. m. , she eats at 12 p. m. ! Thank you for bringing it to our attention! Additionally, it is easy for her to open and has a great cleaning system. be cleaned either in the dishwasher or by hand, and it's so easy to clean that I do it sometimes by hand as well.
Usually I prefer to cook half a packet at a time. Finally, I used a thermal container and now I have the perfect amount. It was difficult to find a 10 oz'er that would work. I searched for a long time, but still couldn't find one that would. A half block of ramen noodles can be prepared in this pot. It takes a little while to break the packet into 4 pieces so that I can put 2 into the thermos, sprinkle some seasoning and add boiling water from the Sunbeam Hot Shot cup (which fits just fine under the To make half of the recipe I use 6oz of water This pack contains. When you cover the pot, shake it around just a few times and the noodles are hot and done to your liking in about 5 minutes. Additionally, I've used it to cook packaged soup mixes (Bear Creek Potato) and similar packages and it works well. The hot meal is ready in minutes since I eat it right after cooking, and I don't know how long it stays hot for since I eat it right after it's cooked.
