AmeriColor Soft Gel Paste Food Color, 13.5-Ounce, Super Black

The first time ever for me to use this brand of gel colorings. I always used Wilton gel colors, but since I had to use a lot of the 1oz bottles on my last black cake, I thought it would be easier and more convenient to use this brand. The brand is familiar to me, and I follow them on Instagram, but after I used this bottle, I was not interested in it anymore. Perhaps the patch was not good? The Wilton brand brand never happens when it comes to coloring the buttercream. I usually only color it once I have filled and frosted my cake and added a decent layer of frosting, and finally color the whole batch of buttercream to complete Add the fondant that was also from this brand, the same bottle that was used for coloring. I was not sure what was wrong with it so my family tossed out the whole cake since it wasn't edible (inside was fine, buttercream that didn't taste colored was okay), but the black part of buttercream was really bitter, so we were not sure what the problem was. When I colored my buttercream, I did not taste it, and I assumed it would do the same as the Wilton brand (no tastes). I have been baking for 4 years now and this is the first time I have ever had this experience!.

I only use one brand of food coloring. The colors are bright and vibrant, and you only need a drop or two to get them. I am a baker and love this brand. There is no taste change in the food when using the gel. My first purchase was a student kit, and I liked it so much that I now buy the bigger bottles in the colors I most often use. It's a bit pricey, but it's worth every penny! Just make sure it's black or another dark color? If you let the navy blue and red develop, the colors are beautiful. Overnight is usually the norm. There is a problem with these 3 colors for all good The best brand for results is still this brand, but you must let your mix sit over night.

She did a fantastic job, and I think she deserved it. The colour won't be as dark without Cocoa, as it doesn't get SUPER dark on its own. There is, however, a lot of darkness.

I am partial to this true black when it is left to "maturate" a bit in frostings and icings. Whether you are starting from a white or black base, you do not have to saturate your medium with this You can scratch a dark grey with a brush and leave it for a few minutes (covered, It will be pitch black when you get back. There can be some greenish tint to your black, but you can cancel it out with a touch of red. It's a little bit of a problem with pretty much any black. Doing this will make your frosting less prone to breakdown and will reduce gel usage by a lot. Add cocoa powder to start with if you're not worried about it tasting strange.

I use a lot of black on my icing, so I buy a 5oz bottle of black gel. It was my idea that I could save some money by purchasing a large bottle. As a surprise, a bottle with a dried and hard substance was handed to me. This gel does not work The materials I had weren't of much use to me. There will be no refund from the seller! The item I bought was unusable and I wasted almost $20.

It appeared that there was a small leak from the bottle because the label of the bottle was completely black from the content and appeared to have dried out already. Although the content was not great, it could be useful. In the event it were shipped securely, this would be an excellent Container of great size.

My family and I use this product at home and at work on a regular basis. This is the first time it has ever leaked or broken open. There's a good chance that it was damaged during the shipping and/or handling A small gap had been made in the silver protector, even though it was still attached. It wasn't a waste of color at all the mess just needed to be cleaned up. I had a good amount of color left that I was able to use.

The reason I wanted black color was to paint some details on some holiday cookies. Because I didn't know how concentrated this product was, I wanted to make sure I had enough on hand to create 500 In fact, I used only one third of the bottle, so I'm hoping it will last until next Christmas and I'll use another third. Still, this 13 ml bottle is enough for me. I already got my money's worth since the 5 oz bottle cost the same as the 4 oz gel colors at my local baker supply store. I have not noticed any difference in quality between this and other brands that With black, you can achieve any shade of grey and tone down bright colors. It can be applied in varying concentrations to achieve any shade of grey. Easy application is ensured by the lift up pour spout on the bottle.
