Keep me away from you, "blue!" I bought this to color a white velvet cake recipe for my wedding What a lovely shade of cookie monster The fact that baking did not dull this color at all and that it didn't require an inordinate amount of baking is really impressive to me

I was looking for liquid food coloring for my red velvet cake recipe (in this case, blue velvet for a birthday request!) It disgusts me to eat food that's so artificially made. My hopes were fulfilled just as I had wanted. Only a few drops were needed for the color to be deep and rich. By replacing the liquid from the other type of coloring with buttermilk, I was able to replenish the rest of the liquid. I was very happy with how the cake turned out!.
