I can't recommend this brand, and I won't purchase it again. Maybe they're old and the flavor went bad in the preservatives, but I won't buy them For chicken tangine, I chopped up just a tiny bit of lemon and every time I bit into a piece, it ruined the dish.
The smell is so bad that I am afraid to put them in food for fear of ruining the whole meal. These items are total waste of money since the seller does not accept returns.
The lemons are a good size, and the packaging has a substantial feel to it. A similar order would be placed with this supplier again.
We'll do our best to complete our task, but we'll do our best to do the job properly. Does the job well, but is not as salty as mishap preserved lemon. People have said that it tastes like chemicals, and I'm inclined to believe them. It was a last minute purchase, but I will likely make the same thing.
In order to teach a cooking class online in Morocco, I needed preserved lemons ASAP. Thanks to Prime, I got what I needed. There is a good amount of space in this jar. A total of 5 or 6 lemons are on the table. Unless you cook Moroccan often, this size is perfect for you since you aren't likely to use them immediately. They keep in the fridge once opened, but if you aren't regular with Moroccan cooking, this size would waste a lot of space.
Hard to find, just right for our new recipe. Not available from our local store, this was an Amazon purchase.
I love cooking with preserved lemons because they are delicious and a lot of fun. There is no end to the number of dishes I've made with them. There is something for every palate, from the Moroccan Tangine to the Adds a touch of tang and that extra something to all dishes. This preserved lemon will be a joy to experiment with if you like.
Helena, CA, where I had roasted chicken with preserved lemons. Seeing how well they worked in cooking drew me to using them. You can roast either meat or fish with it (use less for fish) after it is cut into quarters. The flavors they add are so much more delicious than regular lemons.
