First let me say that It's easy for me to choose my favorite from the foods that I prepare Nevertheless, I have had serious problems getting them from Amazon, with 2 shipments arriving damaged in a row. As a result of the inability to obtain a credit/refund on the Amazon website, I was somewhat miffed (and let me This product was shipped by Amazon), and I left a review about it. There is a reason for this COVID is currently having a crisis, of course, but it still doesn't help you when you have a 30-day window to request a credit and you get a message saying "email support is unavailable at the moment. I have never used preserved lemon before, but I have turned down several that call for them in the past. As they do not seem to be available in my local stores, I decided to buy them on Amazon, since they were finally available. It was delicious to make my Moroccan vegetarian stew with butternut squash and chickpeas. The preserved lemon really enhanced the taste of the spices and enhanced the somewhat bland taste of the butternut squash. The shoes are amazing! I am so glad I purchased.

Having previously eaten dishes with preserved lemon, I only recently started exploring the prospect of making something close to a traditional tagine. Prior to this, I had tried making it with fresh lemons and zest, but while it wasn't bad, it didn't possess that special "zing. " The additional aromatics really added intensity to the dishes, and my wife has declared tagines to be one of her favorites (which means I will buy Jars have always arrived intact (nary a leak has occurred). Until I can make some homemade preserved lemons, these Mina preserved lemons will do just fine in the meantime. Having purchased these preserved lemons twice, I am very happy with the results. It also works well in Avgolemono, a Greek chicken and rice soup. I used the first jar in many dishes where fresh lemons were added, especially lemon zest. They are tangy and salty and I rinse them before using without sacrificing any flavor. Every dish tastes better when they are added.

As a matter of fact, I'm on my second jar of these, and they're incredible. There is no label on the second jar (not even in the box), which I am glad is my second jar, so I know it is as it should be. In this purchase, I made my first preserved lemon purchase. To compare my own preserves with one made professionally, I decided to taste a lemon made professionally.
