I'd never eaten preserved lemons before and do not have any references. It was my intention to cook recipes from my Ottolenghi books with this order and I expected a delicious meal. Upon opening the jar, the smell of detergent filled the room. After a while the smell seemed to go away, and my dish was good, but I also noticed they The smell of lemon detergent could really remind you of preserved lemons. I tasted them and asked if they were fresh and if so, what was the problem. The dish I cooked and the ones I served did not appeal to us. We don't care much for preserved lemons, so it's hard to tell whether the problem is with this particular product or not.

There are a couple of other brands out there, but these are the best for me. There are many great products from Casablanca Market. Its harissa is also excellent. It's not too salty and has just the right amount of zest. The nasturtium flowers work very well in most Moroccan dishes (unsurprisingly), but I've also had them with Israeli couscous and as a garnish for roast potatoes or baked fish as well. I recommend it!.

A preserved lemon is one of my favorites. If you're interested in making it yourself, you can, but why in the long run waste time and money when this product is so great?I add it to soups and salads and it really makes a difference. My wife and I recently made a large pot of minestrone, and we then added about 1/4 of a preserved lemon to a large bowl for 2 servings, and voila, it turned into Moroccan Minestrone. It was delicious!.

My usual method is to preserve lemons for moroccan chicken dishes. One day, I decided to try this product. OMG - I was shocked! There was something very wrong with the dish! Trying the rind before I prepared the food would have been prudent. The remaining lemons in the jar have been put into the compost pile. Have you thought about the worms?.

As my first post, I would like to introduce myself Finally, here is what I have to say The product was not what I expected. I ordered based on Amazon ratings, and I am 2 whole lemons with their skins squeezed in one jar and a less-squeezed one in another I think - The half of a Though I did not expect to find perfectly shaped lemons in the jar, it looked like the lemons had been smashed. It made it really hard to get the lemons out of the jar with just a spoon or fork, and I don't like putting my fingers inside food jars (even clean ones). It was surprising to find that the lemons themselves did not possess any flavor or punch, and that their aroma was almost nonexistent. In addition to the seeds on the lemons themselves This small, brown object is hard, hard and hard. It was good to have lemons on hand, but I couldn't say they enhanced the taste of any of my dishes. For the dishes, I would have been better off using fresh lemons instead of canned. My recommendation would not be to purchase this brand.
