Questions & Answers

What is the maximum input and output voltage, as well as output impedance, for MC aux?

MC is a PHONO parameter that has no bearing on AUX. MM has a phono gain of 38dB, while MC has a gain of 58dB. The output impedance is the same, 200, regardless of which input is used. The maximum output of the MC is 1 and the input sensitivity is 600uV. 7V. At 1, the maximum output of MM is essentially the same. 8V. The input impedance of the MC is switchable. Hi/Low (100/20) is a switchable setting. And, like almost all other MM preamps, the MM input impedance is 47K.

Is there a replacement power cord for this amp that someone can recommend?

This preamp can be found on Amazon under the ASINs B0074ANOC0, B07931QBZ6, and B0087F7SSM.

Selected User Reviews For Technolink TC-770LC High Gain Phono/Mic/Aux Preamp

There's a lot more electronic noise in this unit than there is in
3/5

The unit produces significantly more electronic noise than a 40-year-old integrated amplifier. It's loud enough for you to hear it, but not too loud. If you buy one of these units, don't get the AC-powered one; instead, get the battery-powered one to avoid noise.

This preamplifier has a fantastic sound
5/5

I've got this thing hooked up to a homemade vacuum tube amplifier. The inputs of this preamp are connected to a turntable with a magnetic cartridge as well as a satellite fm stereo receiver. This preamplifier has a fantastic sound. It has left a lasting impression on me.
