Questions & Answers

Could someone tell me if these are the newest versions? What's the age?

Due to the fact that it's directly from the manufacturer, it appears to be the most recent version

Please ask me how I can improve my sound quality with a pro ject carbon dc-connected to my denon dra 800h, if I was to add this preamp to it! Thank you, please?

As a matter of fact, it The sound quality is GUARANTEED better than any phono pre-amp built into a computer On a receiver, there is an amp. The version 685. As a next step, I hooked up the Schiit Mani to my Pro Ject turntable and fed the output to the Yamaha Aux-In (Lower level in the port). You should get the Mani if you have a nice vinyl collection and turntable. We can assure you that you will not In my case, it was built-in pre or phono input on my receiver, so I was able to compare and see for myself.

Thanks for visiting. Is it possible to order it in silver, with an Australian plug of 230v? Would you mind if I thanked you, ?

The website is the only place to get it.

If I wanted to order it in black, how do I do it?

It all starts with an impression
5/5

I will have more to say. I was impressed at first sight. Within a week or so, we will review everything in detail. Please stay tuned for more information. My phono stage was paired with a Fluance RT-132 phono preamp There is an 85 turntable and a Klipsch R-130 pair of speakers With the Ortofon 2m Blue cartridge I tried setting the gain to factory recommended for the first time, and it was disappointing. After switching it over to 48db of gain (1=H, 2=L, 47kohms), I checked the meter. As soon as I saw it, I was stunned. I really like the way this little, simple, affordable box brings the music to life. It offers the full range of detail, works well with the separation of instruments, and all of this with no background noise. It creates a very lively, At this time, I am unable to offer any recommendations. The following review is just a first impression. A few weeks of listening will be necessary to determine whether it has the desired effect. You can expect to hear more soon. This is the Final Round! I hope to see you there! There are not enough good things to say about this product. The lowest noise and fidelity signal that this product delivers cannot be found in any other product at this price. It doesn't matter if you connect this to a $3000 system or a $500 system, your listening experience will be improved. Other solid state phono stages at this price range, and even those available for $300 more, cannot match it for clarity and richness of sound. If you choose to purchase this piece to complete your system or to pair with your powered speakers, you will not be disappointed. ***Please don't forget to vote this review helpful if you found it helpful.

I really like what you said

The hum won't kill you if you're not too sick of it. This is an upgrade from my cheapo preamp which I bought after doing some research. It had never occurred to me how much distortion was coming through and how much clarity was being lost before. The mani clarified things up, and I was delighted with the result. I regret to inform you, however, that I cannot recommend this preamp to all My situation is, unfortunately, similar to that of many others. I could not look away from the hum it was too loud. It sounded great to me, so I tried it, but it was way too irritating for me. Nothing I tried made a difference, so I looked up solutions to the issue. As a result, certain turntables will not work with the Mani. That warning I am giving you right now. There may be other devices close by that can interfere with the Mani, so try to avoid them if possible. Choosing the right plan for your needs may be easier if you live in close proximity to a cellphone tower. You will not be able to use this method if your table is a Lab 400. Although it didn't sound good when it started, once it did start, I would give it two stars. After I gave up on the preamp, I found another one that has no hum and I am so impressed with its sound. The Mani are more likely to die than the others.

The price would be tripled for this kit and it would be incredible
5/5

This preamp is very solidly built, and its sound quality is far beyond the price point. I have tested more phono preamps than I can count and this is by far the best. The majority of the world will find this to be good enough for their needs. For most people, the Mani will be the end game because of the crazy money they have to spend on the rest of the system to need more than just the Mani.

Those who have stated that this is The Shiit know what they're talking about! In the beginning, I purchased the GOgroove mini preamp ($49) and it made me very happy (and it still does)! This is my attempt to add 400+) to the list

This is my first vinyl purchase and I couldn't have imagined it would Amazing! I cannot believe that this thing exists! A Pro- has been tried by me We tried both the Cambridge and Project preamps and returned both of them, as they were not as good as However, it took me a while to become familiar with Other than that, all the others lacked. With this, I was able to bring my vinyl collection to life! If you are still not sure about it, check out YouTube reviews. This is far and away the best sounding preamp you can get for this price.

The whole thing is a piece of sh**! The hum when you first open the box is loud Perhaps there are still old models that were never recalled on Amazon According to some buyers, the same model release later had a disappointing hum fix (some buyers claim)

Since I have a bad exemplar, I'm going to assume it's my fault
3/5

A good thing I must mention*br The aluminum case, gold-plated connectors, and easy-to-use ground connector tell you clearly that this is a Made in the USA product. This is a made in China item with a cheap power source, but they do tell you that on the web site honestly. Overall, it is a stylish and well-built piece. This is bad I must mention*br The sound of hiss is audible. My turntable has a built-in phono preamp which I purchased from Denon two years ago I have a Technics control receiver SA-125 amp and a Technics amp With its built-in phono preamp, the DX940 has a phono input This is amplified. Acknowledged, both pre and post While there is no point in comparing mani amps to Technics or Denon amps because they are both inferior to Mani, both of them produce hiss at the same level as Mani. As noted, Mani has a stated STN of 90dB, while Denon has it at 62dB, while Techincs has it at -36dB. The phono input should be at 70 dB. The headphones I use are AudioTechnica ATH-ES1 A moderate level of hiss can be heard with a M50x headset, but it is just as easily heard via loudspeakers, even if all Mani switches are set to There is one star missing. This is UGLY I must mention*br If it makes a loud noise when it is turned on or off, then it is likely to have no As stated in the manual, turning the pre-warning light off is not recommended While the power amp is on, the amp can be turned on and off. It is a way of preparing the meals in another way—but I understand The Amp is less costly, yet I still believe it is ugly, because switching between on and off is traditionally a sign of cheap and low-quality audio gear. I gave it a minus. A BRIEF OPINION I must mention*br I think this is where the decision is more about taste, so no demerits, but for me this is one of the best This amplifier is all about high frequencies, that is where it excels, but mids and lows do not seem to be as strong. Actually, this may be the reason why it is known as being a good mate for the Therefore, when combined with Mani (whose focus seems to be on the highs), MP110 is very However, you might want to try As a result, the voice and guitars of Queen and the Beatles suddenly recede into the background as all the nuances of cymbals fill the forefront. The choice between the built-in pre-sets may be a matter of choice as well, but both It's much easier to hear mids and lows with the amps I have.
