Questions & Answers
Speakers are not powered by preamps. POWER SPEAKERS are speakers that have been amplified. Powered speakers (also called active or amplified speakers) are speakers that are powered by electricity. ANY line output level audio source, including this one, can drive it directly. When it comes to powered speakers, the only consideration is how loud you want them to be (e.g., e.g., e.g., e.g., g the size of the amp that must be built into them).

Connect a single input to two turntables. Love it. For me, it was a solution to a problem. I have two new turntables in addition to my collection of old record changers. All of my record changers require a phono amplifier, whereas newer turntables come with one built in and an off switch. As a result, I now have one new turntable and one old record changer connected to a single input on the back of my powered speakers. I'm going to get another one and repeat the process. I've listened to about 10 hours of music on both record players so far, and neither sound nor features have disappointed me.
It's fantastic!.
