This preamp is used to drive an Onkyo amplifier with my Denon turntable. Before I turn on the Onkyo, I turn it on. There are no more thumps or beeps after that. When I turn it on while the Onkyo is on, it makes a very loud thump. No beeps have ever been heard by me.
This is the unit I have, and it works fine. I have a Shure cartridge that has about 40db of channel separation, which is excellent. I don't care for the sound quality, but I believe it's due to the use of a cheap headphone amp. I'm pretty sure this unit is fine; it's not quite up to par for a $2,000 amp and $1000 speakers, but it'll suffice for most systems. br>Specsbr>Performance br>*Input impedance: : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : br>*Input sensitivity: 47kOhm (MM), 100Ohm (MC) 0 mV (MM) and 400 mV (MC) br>*Total harmonic distortion: for 300mV out br> (MM/MC) % br>*Frequency Response: @ 1kHz, 300mV out br> +0, - br>*Signal / Noise ratio (A weighted): 1dB, 20Hz to 20 kHz > 80 decibels (MM), *Input overload margin: 70dB (MC) br> br>*RIAA response: 15dB (MM), 22dB (MC) br> +/- 25dB
Thank you for reaching out to us. The V90- Although the LPS is an excellent phono preamplifier, it is not designed for computer recording. There is an analog RCA input and an analog RCA output on the device. If you want to use this phono preamp with a computer, you'll need an audio interface. If you have any other questions, please let us know!
The v90 is fantastic, but one thing I've noticed is that the output sound is a little lower, but it's still very clear. Simply use your Yamaha preamp if your preamp has a phono input.

WOW is all I have to say. Everything you hear about this product is true: the soundstage is incredible for the price, and it performs well in terms of speed and dynamics. The bass was resolved, but it was a little light when the music became more complex. To fix this, I upgraded the power supply and got rid of that little wallwart that didn't appear to be capable of charging my electric toothbrush. This unit easily competed with pre-upgraded units once the power supply was upgraded. I've heard of amps costing upwards of $1,500. This is a unit that I strongly recommend!.
That sounds fantastic. I recently purchased a "budget priced" tube amp, and after reading a wide range of reviews on affordable tube preamps, I chose this one based on good reviews and my trust in the Musical Fidelity brand, and I have not been disappointed in the least. Smooth, quiet, and transparent are the three words that come to mind when thinking of this product It's fantastic, and I'd recommend it to anyone with around $3000 to spend on an entire vinyl setup rather than just a phono stage.
I'm a big fan of vinyl records and listen to them all the time. There are two analog systems in my house. Tube amplifiers are used in both of them. (Each is equipped with a Mac MC225). My reference system is based on a Mac C-based operating system. Many people consider the 11 Preamp to be one of the best LP playback preamps ever made. I was in desperate need of another pre- Because the one I was using on the Phono section was marginal, I needed an amp for my secondary system. Take a look at the Musical Fidelity V90- LPS. The Macintosh Computer Corporation (MC-) is a company that produces computers I can use the V90-225 because it has level pots. LPS is fed directly into the MC- 225 The sound quality is outstanding! I adore how quiet the V90 is. In my opinion, the RIAA EQ is perfect. I don't miss or need any additional EQ, such as tone control boost or filters, because there isn't anything else in the circuit. Across the entire spectrum, the sound is clear and accurate. The set design is stunning. The V- It's not as hot as my C-. 11, and it doesn't have the same depth as the C-. 11 (using six Telefunken 12AX7As), but at a cost of less than $300. 00, Wow, let's face it, this isn't a joke. The ability to use a low-output MC cartridge if I choose is a nice bonus (currently, I'm using a higher-output MC cartridge, so the MM output is fine). Anyone looking for great LP playback on a tight budget should consider LPS.
I purchased this V90- LPS was compared to the Emotiva Audio XPS- 1 preamp for phono. The V90- LPS had a more open, airy tone to it. Both preamplifiers are solidly built. I made the decision to keep this amplifier.
After reading enough positive feedback, I decided to replace my stock Ortofon Red cartridge on a Project Deput Carbon with a Denon c103 Mc cartridge. I had to upgrade the phono stage to accomplish this. After a slew of articles and reviews, the term "accurate" became synonymous with this preamp. On a McCormick DNA and Martin Logan Mosiac speakers, this preamp c103 produces fantastic sound. Everything about it has made me very happy. The bass, in particular, strikes me as particularly accurate, which is crucial to me.
a good deal.
Very pleased with the product, which has excellent sound quality and a high build quality. I bought a used amplifier, which came in perfect condition in its original box.
Imagine paying $25 for a 48-ounce Kobe steak. Then you take a bite, which is delicious, especially for the price, and time passes as you eat. Then, as time passes, you become aware of the $175. You paid $25 for a 00 Kobe steak. 00 for is melting in your mouth right now. br>This, in my opinion, accurately describes the Music Fidelity V90-. LPSbr>It brought out the best in my vintage Dual 5000. I'm the proud owner of a Pioneer Elite SC-XXXXXXXXXX Its phono stage isn't up to par, but that was fixed by this little amp! br> Purchase and take pleasure in!.
