This was my first digitizer repair on an iPad 4, and I knew things weren't going to go well from the start. The black bezel was too big for the shell, and the digitizer was too small; it's only millimeters, but it makes a difference. Neither of the pieces were a good fit. After breaking the new digitizer while attempting to fit it and wasting $15, I did my homework and purchased the parts from FixIt. The parts fit perfectly, and the job was a lot easier and more enjoyable. It appears that the iPad is brand new. Please accept my apologies for the negative review on Amazon.

The screen was well-fitting and performed as expected. The home button didn't work, but I was able to get it to work by moving over from my shattered screen.

Overall, it was a great product, though I did have to add adhesive to improve the seal.

The level of quality control is poor. The home button on the first one was broken. Amazon, on the other hand, responded quickly and replaced it.

A iPad screen can be replaced for a reasonable price if patience and a gentle approach are used. This product functions in the same way as the original, and the kit includes replacement tools. Two thumbs up!.
