I have the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 smt217s, which is excellent and comes with all of the necessary tools. Step-by-step instructions were obtained from a YouTube video.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S8 and it works fine, but I don't have any experience with tablets.

I was very disappointed with this item the first time I received it because it appeared to be very sturdy, but as soon as I plugged it into my computer, it broke and didn't work at all. I wasn't even going to return it because I thought it would be a waste of money, but just be careful if you buy this item because they sent some other items that I wasn't going to use, but other than that be careful when you buy.
It was an excellent substitute, but there are no instructions! Thankfully, someone made a generic YouTube video, which I followed step by step. At the end of the day, it's a fantastic system. If they could just upload a YouTube video and include the link in the package, it would be extremely helpful and likely make your customers very happy.
Deinstalling the old screen should be done slowly and carefully. You'll be successful if you work slowly and carefully. The most difficult part was removing the table from its case - Everything else was simple and straightforward, and after the replacement, everything worked.
