If by framework you mean digitizer, then the digitizer is the only thing that comes with it. The screen on the iPad Air 1st generation is divided into two sections. The digitizer, which is the iPad's outer glass and controls all of the touching, is the first part. The second part is the LCD, which is the actual screen. This will work if the glass is shattered but everything else appears to be in good condition. If your screen has lines or black spots, you'll need a new LCD, which will significantly increase the cost of your repair. br>br>Every time my son breaks the digitizer (glass), the LCD always survives. I've already replaced it ten times.
Mine did. It came with a button in addition to the flex. The button on the old screen didn't need to be removed. Very nice outcomes.

The iPad was 100% working, but the screen was completely broken. I started looking for a new screen and eventually settled on this one. It wasn't the cheapest, but it was still affordable, and it included a set of repair tools. I've never replaced a screen on a device before, so this was a new experience for me. My best bet appeared to be a single repair kit. It took a few days for the kit to arrive after I placed the order. Because there were no instructions, I turned to YouTube for help and started chiseling away at the screen. Because the old screen was completely shattered, it took the longest to remove. I did this over some paper towels so that I could easily throw away any shards that fell as I scraped away the adhesive. The last step in removing the old screen was to disconnect it from the LCD underneath. I then used the included cloth to clean the LCD, making sure there were no remaining shards, before connecting the new screen. The final step was to install the new screen, which took a few tries to get it perfectly aligned with the home button and camera opening. When I turned it on, everything worked flawlessly. I've seen some other reviews mention ghost-touches, but it's been about a month since I replaced the screen, and I haven't had any problems yet. The ONLY problem I'm having is due to my own blunder. While removing the old screen, I nicked the LCD a few times, and the iPad now has a few dead pixels along the side that are barely noticeable. Aside from that, it's like having a brand new iPad without the hefty repair bill, and it only took me 45 minutes. If you can find and follow youtube tutorials, I highly recommend this kit.
The package came with all of the necessary tools. The new screen worked flawlessly, and the fit was perfect. The removal of the old, broken screen was the most difficult part of the installation. The second most difficult part was cleaning all dirt particles from the screen and LCD display with the included wipes and compressed air. The adhesive was already installed on the new screen, so all you have to do now is peel away the protective layer. The first unit I received didn't have a working home button. The second one turned out to be flawless.
On my iPad Air, the glass was cracked. I'm an electronics enthusiast, so I was confident in my ability to complete the repair. It was a little difficult to remove the original screen, but I wouldn't worry about damaging the iPad now that I think about it. Simply wrap a heat gun around the iPad's outside frame and pry the screen off as much as possible. If the screen is shattered, use packing tape to secure it. Cut the ribbon cables if you want to go ahead and do so. The installation of the glass is fairly simple once all of the thick adhesive has been removed from the frame. Everything is back together, but the screen isn't working properly, multiple apps are launching on their own, and the iPad is even making random Ooma phone calls. I was confident that I had not damaged anything, so I contacted Amazon, who promptly dispatched a replacement. It only took about 15 minutes to replace the old one. In comparison to the OEM screen, I was able to remove the old (new) screen fairly easily. The iPad has now been restored to its previous state. This product has met my expectations.
This replacement glass performed admirably. If you're considering replacing the glass on your iPad, I'd advise you to be patient. It's a time-consuming project; if the screen is shattered, you'll have to pick out pieces of glass one by one. I used a hair dryer to loosen up the adhesive, and it seemed to work fairly well. Also, because there will be shards flying around, make sure you have a clean work space. I wiped my hands with a towel before discarding it. Last but not least, the digitizer, which you should try to get out of the way as soon as possible. Because of all the debris, I had to clean it with a damp cloth. Cleaning the digitezer isn't advised (according to the websites I looked at). The only issue I had was with the button's cable, which seemed to be a little long. On a PIA scale of 1 to 10, I give this project an 8. Best of luck!.
After having a small tech shop repair my brother's ipad air because the screen was cracked, it turned out that there was a portion of the screen that wouldn't register a touch, making it difficult to play certain games; after my brother cracked the screen AGAIN, we decided to save some money and buy the screen and DIY since the tech shop we went to did a pretty poor job replacing it. br>br>When we replaced the screen, we didn't have any of the issues the tech shop did. The screen appeared to be in perfect working order. We replaced the screen without using a heat gun, but we left the previous screen's adhesive on, and when we put everything back together, there was a small area near the top that didn't stay flush, so try to remove the old adhesive if you can.
This package was purchased to replace the screen/digitizer on my shattered iPad. The product was simple to set up and operate, with no issues. The screen, however, began to rise after two days. The glue didn't stick very well. I was able to solve the problem by switching to a different brand that a friend in IT recommended. br>br>Aside from that, I have no issues. My device is now fully functional and appears to be brand new. We had a difficult time with the adhesive, so I gave it four stars.
They could have used instructions or a video specific to their product because they include parts in the other videos that help skip a few steps, which can be confusing. I also believe the cleaning towels are only for the screen they provide you with, not the LCD. But there's no way of knowing for sure because there aren't any guidelines. br>Removing the old glass was a pain, but that's not the product's fault. br>I'm very happy with what I got so far, and having all the tools I'd need was extremely helpful. br>I hope I don't have to do it again, but if I did, I'd do it again in a heartbeat. If I need to repair my iPad screen again, I will order this product.
