Hello, I received this and noticed that my tools were missing. Could you please send them to me?

Yes, get in touch with Zentop; they're a breeze to work with. They should provide you with the tools for free.

Is this compatible with the mpgw2ll/a model?

I'm not sure why you got a "no" response, but if you look in your settings - about - mpgw2ll is a model that you might come across. If you look at the time, it should change to A183, which is what the description says.

I have a touch problem with my iPad, will this work?

This is a combination of a screen and a digitizer. Any problems with touch should be solved with a new digitizer. Best of luck! I hope this has been of assistance to you! br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b

Good Quality - Notes for Installing A heat gun will be required
5/5

Start pulling up the screen's edges once they've heated up. You must begin on the display's opposite side of the cable connections. Pull up as if you're opening a door once you've detached. br>br>Remove all of the glass, then use goo gone or essential oils to get rid of the glue and tape from the previous display. br>br>Then remove the lcd screen, disconnect the lcd screen, and finally disconnect the digitizer (touch screen) that is located beneath the lcd screen connector. At this point, there should be seven screws (4 for the LCD screen and 3 for the LCD connector). br>br>Connect the new digitizer, clean the LCD with windex and alcohol if necessary, and finish with windex and a microfiber. Remove the tape from the digitizer cable and adhere it to the digitizer as well as the bottom of the iPad. Install a LCD display. Remove the tape from around the digitizer as well as the protective covering from the back of the digitizer. After adhering it to the iPad, melt the glue with a heat gun. Done.

I was a little apprehensive at first, but after watching a YouTube video on how to install the kit, everything went smoothly. Simply go at your own pace. There were no issues with adhesion or fit for me. My grandson was able to save $125 as a result of my generosity. 00 on the repair and learned a few things about how these electronic devices are put together. Win Win.

2 tried. 2 failed. glue that has gone bad For more information on the one-star rating, see the latest edit at the bottom of the page. Initially, br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br Despite visible flaws and a "wavy" appearance, this appeared to be a mostly viable and affordable solution. ness' on the monitor I completed the repair in a relatively simple and analgesic manner by paying close attention to instructional videos I found online. It took me about 3 minutes to remember everything in a retentive manner. Everything seemed to go smoothly for the first five hours. When I was finished, however, I noticed that the glue along the right side edge of the screen had not fully adhered, and there is discernible movement when I press on that edge, despite the fact that I had cleaned away any old glue and double-checked that the screen fit properly before exposing the adhesives and fixing it into place. I tried using some books and a heavy stapler to apply consistent, even pressure overnight to keep the screen edge in contact, but it didn't solve the problem. br>For the time being, everything works as it should, but that movement along the right edge of the screen has me worried that it will eventually work itself loose and I'll have to replace the screen (a process I'm not looking forward to repeating). br>As time goes on, I'll update my review. To be honest, I'll give it another star if it doesn't get any worse and keeps working properly for a few more months. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: br>I gave it an extra star because the company sent me a replacement after hearing my concerns. I have not yet installed the newer one, owing to a lack of time, but while there is still a loose area (near the button cable junction), it has not gotten any worse. br>br>Another issue I've had, which I don't think has anything to do with the replacement screen, is that my iPad has become overly sensitive to the case cover magnets that tell it when the cover is closed or opened (on multiple models). br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: After the first screen started reporting phantom touches all of the time, rendering the iPad unusable, I took away three stars. The glue on the replacement screen was even worse than on the original; the camera cutout is in the wrong place, and the entire screen keeps moving around and trying to fall out while FaceTimeing. And the ghost touch issue reappeared. br>br>I'm going to experiment with a different brand.

To the majority of the negative reviewers, I'd like to say: Do you mean it when you say you're going to follow instructions? When you buy auto parts, do you get instructions on how to put them back together? And, if you receive a defective product, return it instead of leaving a negative review

Please read the description carefully because this item does not include a touch id home button. The hardest part is replacing the original home button, which won't stay in place like it did in the original unit. I finally came up with the idea of putting silicone underneath it to keep it in place. The screen, on the other hand, is in excellent condition. Adhesive stinks, as it does with almost all screens, so get B7000 glue for the job.

Dropped my iPad 5th generation 128GB ($299 from Costco) on the power button edge, which cracked the screen and seized up the power button
5/5

Originally, I ordered another touch screen digitizer, but it cracked right away. This was a fantastic entry. By the way, I consider myself a great do-it-yourselfer, but I've never dabbled with an iPad or other electronic device. The Phillips screwdriver was the perfect size and magnetic right out of the box (regret not making a video). Pre-programmed options were available on the touchscreen. strips of paper glued on I was able to clean the LCD screen with disposable wipes, but I had to use a microfiber cloth before final installation. Because the preinstalled home button does not support fingerprint authentication, I warmed up the bracket that held it in place, removed it, and replaced it with my old one. br>Overall, I found everything to be exactly what I was looking for. br>I had to remove the power button, sand it down a little, scrape off glue from the inside edges where the old touchscreen was, and watch YouTube videos to figure out what to do. I saved $250 by paying $24 instead of $250 for a touchscreen (not to mention the problem with the power button).

Use an online guide and YouTube videos to assist you with the process, and take it slowly! This isn't a simple fix; you'll need a heat gun to loosen up the adhesion material, but the provided metal tool is invaluable for getting between the screen and the frame
5/5

When you're removing the old home button, take it slowly. Use the tools provided and avoid speeding around the thin cables. When all is said and done, the final product is fantastic. Oh, and there's one minor issue: the stupid tape covering the adhesion is a pain to remove, but that's because I was trying to balance the screen up with one hand while removing the tape with the other.
