The screen is extremely thin, and the adhesive peels off in four locations. I've installed a lot of iPad screens, and this one was the flimsiest I've ever seen. During the installation, the screen cracked. It is not worth the money; instead, opt for a less expensive alternative.
First and foremost, make sure you have a clean workspace and eye protection, as it can get messy. Everything goes smoothly when you find the right YouTube video for instructions, have the right patience, and do it at the right time. Near the end, I had some screen issues, but that was due to something not being properly plugged in. Everything about this screen is great except for the adhesion; it's easy to lift, so I'll have to make my own glue to keep it in place; however, this isn't a major issue. It's also difficult to clean the screens, but these are minor flaws; otherwise, if you have patience, it's a worthwhile purchase.
Works great, no glitches or dead spots, and good bonding tape is included. installedbr>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br Installed home button is of good quality, but as everyone knows, you lose fingerprint recognition on it, which is fine with me unless you install the original factory Home button, which I strongly recommend.
The hardest part was getting rid of the broken glass and adhesive, but I was able to do so with the help of YouTube videos. We were able to save a significant amount of money thanks to this item.
I almost thought the adhesive film had no adhesive on it because it was so difficult to remove. To remove it from the adhesive, you'll need a pin or a fine blade.
If you have small hands, it'll be simple to put together.
There are a few dead zones on the touchscreen. It won't let me drag and will act as if I've let go of the screen. Because I already have it installed, I won't be able to easily return it. Before gluing it down, I tried a few different spots. Regrettably, I was unable to detect this. Disappointing to say the least. br>br>I'll give it a few more days, but I'll most likely have to remove it and "return it. " After that, switch to a different screen.
The camera and home button were already installed when I purchased this screen. Although it was a few dollars more, I figured I'd get it because the adhesive strips were already in place. br>br>I should have read the reviews before purchasing this one. What I thought was going to save me $30 turned out to be a waste of time. In the end, 45 minutes cost me the time it takes to do the job twice plus the cost of returning this item.
